    The Pitch and serious injuries

If it was the pitch, the opposition would get as many ACLs etc as we do

    Vinai Venkatesham - CEO

The Lewis family must have read that post cos they've just said they are all in! I guess we'll see what that means by the time that the season starts....

    Nerve-Wrecking Moments

I didn't find Sunday afternoon's extra time that nervy, simply because I didn't see Everton scoring TWO. And I was there, which helps massively. But any football fan has to accept that emotional scarring is part and parcel of loving a football club. So (shades of fat Tony from the Fast Show??)...

    Johan Lange - Sporting Director

I read a while back that we wanted Dougie Freedman to join, in order to give us a pair of "Sporting Directors" (ie heads of recruitment), which is the Brentford model. So it may not be an actual demotion as such...

If they hire De Zerbi, I'm done with this club! That aged well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

He's the first manager since Poch that gets us, that wants to be a Tottenham manager and can see the clubs potential. Let's hope the club realise how important and rare that is. This this and this again. The Board needs to buy the kind of players which De Zerbi needs: players who provide magic...

***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur FC v Everton, Sun May 24th, 4.00pm, The Lane***

17 home league games without a win It's almost - almost - funny just how completely, absolutely, utterly atrocious we have been in the last 2 seasons. When Conte threw a hissy fit and stormed out, we were 5th. Once Ange's game plan was sussed out, we plummeted to depths we would never, ever...

    Kevin Danso

Our entire side was more comfortable with Kinsky. The trouble with Vic was the constant heart in the mouth moments...great stopper but Jesus he made everyone nervous... we don't need to be crapping ourselves every time our goalie has the ball at his feet.

I'd love to read some of the articles journos drafted, on the assumption that we were getting relegated. I think the bitterness one or two indulged in since we survived, was because the eviscerations of Daniel and the Board which they had prepared, never got published.

    Djed Spence

He had a good game today, great to see him in that position where he can use his pace.

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

So impressive. And he speaks so well... he is ambitious, he won't be a pushover for the Board but they would be mad not to back him.....

The reason I like going to games and not watching on TV was that I wasn't nervous today, but if I watched on TV, I'd be a wreck. When you are bellowing COYS, there is no way you are nervous - it's great therapy! And seeing us score helps too!!!

***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur FC v Everton, Sun May 24th, 4.00pm, The Lane***

I thought about not going to see the game. Save money on train and beer. Find somewhere nice to take the dog for a walk etc etc In some ways relegation would be a fitting denouement to the appalling football we have seen for two seasons, but it would inevitably result in a fair few Spurs...

Still not over it, eh? Those scars run mighty deep. Followed by the FA Cup loss against City when they had 10 on the pitch etc etc etc

Gallagher vs Caicedo could decide this game I just hope we manage to keep 11 on the pitch for the whole game. We've sabotaged ourselves far too often this season. At least if we have 11 on the pitch there's a chance, even if its a slim one.
