    Not many as good as Ancelotti full stop, he’s up there with Jose and Sir Alex imo. Conte is excellent imo, one of the best around right now.

    I know it appears to work elsewhere, but I wonder if we would fair better if there was a proper hierarchy and players had less influence. There can’t be many industries where managers earn less than their direct reports. Maybe flipping that around would help.

    Good first race, glad to see Russell win, and Lewis back at the right end. Bit too easy to overtake though now, too much faffing and fighting rather than dialling in and getting consistent lap times.

    You shouldn’t get a trophy for finishing down the league and winning the playoffs imo. I’d actually do away with the playoffs myself, fix the promotion spots to the top 2/3/4 depending on division. That’s a truer reflection of the season.

    Because that’s where VDV put it, no excuse for that one. We have many many examples of being fudged over by inconsistent officiating this season though. I fear the West Ham turnaround could be key, not getting a pen when the ball was punched away from Gallagher, then not getting the FK when...

    It’s not a legacy. That competition was a joke last season, was fantastic to qualify for the CL, but heralding it as some kind of glory was nonsense. The glory in football is in consistent challenge at the top of the game. I’d give that trophy back for a top 5 finish this season in a heartbeat.
