**** OMT Tottenham Hotspur FC v Bodo Glimt ****

The result is the result but by that analogy, every single game ever played has ended up the 'correct score' which we all know is not the case. In some games a team deserving more gets a lot less and vice versa. I'd say that if you played a game 100 times with similar chances for both teams...

On balance of chances about 4-2 to them.

I think he overestimated them. I really see no need for him to have set us up in a low block formation against limited opposition. Should've been a lot braver and had faith that we have much better players than them (as our respective wage bills show).

I thought he was our best attacking player of all the starters last night. Actually tried to make something happen every time he got the ball, despite being largely isolated.

Did you miss the umpteen chances that Bodo had?

I agree with this. It seemed to take most of our players time to be sure of their footing and the way that the ball rolled and bounced. I can't help but think it was a mistake not having the 45 minutes training on the pitch that we were allowed to have but chose to forfeit.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

I don't think that is true. It was quite clear to me that we had a number of set patterns of attacking play previously, particularly ones that involved interchange between our fullbacks and Maddison, and we also looked to get the wide player in behind the last defender and hitting the far post...

    Richarlison

Richarlison isn't fit to lace Robbie Keane's boots. Keane scored goals at a rate better than 1 in 2 for Spurs. Those are elite numbers. I wouldn't back Richarlison to outscore Keane in any system.

    Mikey Moore

He won’t even make our bench here. If he can’t force his way from the bench into the starting line-up of a not particularly good Rangers team then he is not (yet) good enough for PL football. IMO this period of difficulty will be really good for him.

    Vinai Venkatesham - CEO

Actually £100m of cashflow would be very welcome at THFC. We are fine on PSR and can sustain a decent level of year on year transfer spending. Cash flow is probably our most pressing concern right now (though I would argue a good stadium sponsorship all ploughed in to paying off capital on our...

    New takeover rumours

Levy already has hundreds of millions of pounds. Sure a vast proportion of that money is invested in assets (one in particular), but that is the case with most of the uber rich. Cash is the very worst asset to have. It just inflates away. My experience of the uber wealthy (and I have dealt...

    Vinai Venkatesham - CEO

Always look to have the best possible recruitment model by ensuring proper investment in talent. Poach people from other clubs who are renowned as being the best in the business instead of getting people just because they are cheap and/or available. Properly invest in data, scouting and...

    New takeover rumours

Why do you think Levy needs the money? What would he do with about £500m to £800m other than invest it into other assets?

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

I suppose what I was getting at is that the difference isn't a 'rounding error' as Baleforce had said. It is actually quite significant (a trophy every 3.63 years on average versus a trophy every 12.5 years).
