    I think there’s an argument to be had in that we paid what we believed to be acceptable. Therefore we haven’t overpaid. Perhaps we paid the high end of our perceived value of Savinho BUT we paid a fee that we were happy with. So is he expensive? Yes. Have we overpaid? No.

    One of the big problems too is that clubs will either overcharge us for players, or will want replacement in. So that means we likely pay over the odds to persuade clubs to sell players that they’d rather want with the season nearly or having kicked off.

    Just bought ticket for us v Saudi Sportswashing Machine. Looking forward to the match. My first ever league match at the stadium. I was a season ticket holder in 2017/18 but only been to stadium tour, the January that stadium first opened, and to Spurs legends v Milan legends but this one will be something else.
