    That’s what we get for not finishing the job with a win against Leeds. We have the circumstances as are, and have to do the best we can with them. Won’t be easy but won’t be easy for either us or Everton.

    it really is warm and humid today. Did parkrun this morning and felt it. So will definitely need to be more controlled team performance tomorrow. Not a bad thing if it means the game is slower, hopefully will allow us to have more control over proceedings and better manage the match.

    Madueke, Gordon, Quansah, Lewis Skelly and Stones shouldn’t be near squad. How Gibbs White hasn’t been called up is perfection. I’d have Gibbs White starting and Anderson. So that there’s a club link up with two players who are off the back of having an excellent season.

    I’ve been tempted to dodge the matches completely and see what texts come through afterward. I’ve also been tempted to buy a ticket to the match. I can’t do the latter now as will be staying with family but I can’t wait until it’s all over one way or another.

    When there was ten minutes left to play why were t we throwing centre backs forward and having Kinsky come up for corners? We may as well have lost 3-1 or 4-1 but gone all out at the end, than fall over to a 2-1 loss and not much happening in last stages.

    At least Maddison should start v Everton. We clearly lack any creative edge without him on the pitch. I worry if we go a goal behind against Everton.

    He’s someone I wanted us to sign in the past. It’s worth noting though that I also wanted us to sign Muani and Tel, and they haven’t really been at it. So maybe one to avoid.

    Just seen an article in which it’s said that Hamburg are trying to get Vuskovic for a second loan season. I hope there’s no truth in that. Vuskovic should be in our first team squad. If we send him on loan again then serious questions need to be asked.

    Senesi and Robertson are free transfers. I’m less fussed with Robertson but if we can get them in paying lower fees, there’s still going to be signing on fees and wages etc, then that may save us money to sign key players elsewhere.

    Sounds like Romero is leaving. Senesi might be his replacement and is good. I hope Romero doesn’t leave but I know not many agree with me.

    It is. So many giving it as a West Ham win pre match but was never going to be that easy. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they fail to beat Leeds. In fact, I don’t think that they will beat Leeds. Not on what I watched today.
