    I think it’s possible due to how Evan Ferguson was given chance by RDZ at Brighton. I think Lankshear is given pre season tour to impress and then decision will be made on his next journey.

    A lot of praise has been laid at De Zerbi’s feet for his achievement in keeping us up. I also wanted to recognise the great effort from @thfcsteff with the key series of OMTs. As they helped us win the Europa League last season, so they helped us survive this season. Good work

    If he’s good enough he will become a starter for us anyway? So then he will play a lot more than 7 matches. Even if he only played in the cups for us then that’s likely 4 or 5 matches minimum unless we get a tough draw. So add 7-10 matches in the league and he could play as many as 12-15...

    I’m interested to know DZB’s plans for Bergvall and Gray. Neither of whom has had significant playing time recently. It might be that De Zerbi wanted more experience and that’s understandable.

    It feels strangely empty today. Like whether we will survive or not has occupied so many of my thoughts. And now that it’s done, I’m relieved but now concerned what will fill my anxiety buckets next.

    He does what’s needed. Wins the ball back, passes to a team mate and lets those gifted make the most of our possession. We need someone like him that can lead from the middle, that does the ugly work and has true passion for what we’re about. That he can chip in with goals too is a bonus.

    I’m a big supporter of Porro. Gives his 100%, so much passion. Can pass well, gets stuck in and today was excellent. Can see him having big future with us in De Zerbi’s team.
