The "If we go down" thread

Problem is up until very recently; we’re talking about 2nd and 3rd string players. Wham, Forest and Leeds are picking their best teams. Players need two things. Ability and to care. These guys are lacking in both departments.

I’ve started to ready myself for it with some positive angles. No VAR Reduced gonads from media Refs not following media gonads Away games possibility Play some younger players Weed out the players that don’t want to be here See some goals….and maybe wins Feel free to add to the list.

    Johan Lange - Sporting Director

Can you share examples of that? Genuine question.

The "If we go down" thread

Forest and West Ham getting positive results and a bit of feel good factor/momentum. We don’t have that. Since Jan 1st teams have the following points: West Ham 14 Leeds 11 Forest 10 Spurs 4 I only see that worsening as their players look up for it and are talking positively in interviews...

Correct. Summerville walks in our team.

    Igor the Interim

The best players of the bottom half teams will be the ones on our radar in the summer. Anderson is certainly one of those. Someone like Mitoma maybe another. I like the Wolves left back.

    Igor the Interim

You can read my thoughts on Gallagher in his thread on the day he signed. I thought it was a terrible signing. As things stand now, I think he's worth of a place in the central 4. He must have character if he's been chosen by Poch as a captain before and I just suspect he cares a lot more about...

There's no way they were doing that - it costs money. They basically didnt take the drop seriously.

With Gallagher playing Johnson's position yesterday. Heads should roll.

The combinations change so frequently - in a way I don’t blame the players completely. If I were Tudor I’d pick my main 4 now for the 3 spaces and stick with it. For me it would be Palhina, Gallagher, Gray & Simons. Biss and Sarr have been so hit and miss, we need to limit their mins. Palhina...

OMT - Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur

When there is no football knowledge or aptitude you have to go by data.

I see no way out for VV and Lange if we lose the next 2 games. Sack him and they look like complete cowboys. Keep him and we probably go down.

OMT - Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur

A big problem with hiring Tudor is he has no positive footing with the refs/media. Everyone will join in the pile on and no one will pull for him. Decisions/narrative against us become 2nd nature as there will be no heat for those involved. An extreme example of this would be hiring someone...

OMT - Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur

Kane and Son masked the wage structure issue for years. Now it’s playing out accordingly. There’s a proven direct link between wages as a % of turnover and points gained. At our level, to be in the top 6 you need everything in good order - fit squad, good manager, fair decisions. We have none...

OMT - Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur

It was sent kinda tongue in cheek. I know we’re not capable.
