Tactically I expect nothing in these 7 games. What I do expect is a turnaround in desire and mentality. And I expect him to give us the best chance possible by playing players in their correct positions in a basic consistent formation for 7 games.

I’ll be equally staggered and also totally expect it that they go for another guy that almost certainly doesn’t know the players.

    Mathys Tel

I’ve really enjoyed seeing his character and effort actually. Some others could learn a thing or two. Fact remans that there seems to be a slight lack of end quality. One thing tactically that hasn’t helped him. Having Spence at LB hinders him as Tel always picks it up so wide. Most good...

    Igor the Departed

The problem is we no longer have the time to absorb the mistakes/learning. We need someone that is: -tactically adept -picks the best possible team from outset (right formation, players in right positions, play on front foot) -capable if in game changes that have a positive impact...

I should add…..I wouldn’t be against it. He’s one of the only options that’s available and would get the players AND fans onside. But we had that yesterday for a long period and it still wasn’t good enough.

You’re giving the chuckle brothers too much credit. They’ve already made plenty of bad decisions. I reckon if anything it’s the other way round. Ange has a decent legacy at Spurs with the 5th place and the a trophy (for many anyway). There’s no way he risks that for 7 or 8 matches and the...

Maybe one up top and Simons behind in the hole. Draw players out from their back 4. Our strikers didn’t get any change out of their 2 cbs.

All I would say to that is the first half performance would overwhelm most Championship teams. They won’t have 2 CBs of Forest strength. However - I expect our team will look a lot different.

How do we turn that into 9 from the last 21. Need 2 win and 3 draws Or 3 wins. Not happening is it.

He was also a victim of how weak we were on the left. Teams just doubled up over that side and were happy to let the ball come back over to our left. At least with Tel he occupied 1 and sometimes 2 defenders. That wound benefit Kudus.

Biggest tactical blunder today was going 2 up top - effectively going toe to toe with 2 strong CBs. Would have been better with one up top and Xavi in the hole.

The problem is the ones that care aren’t really good enough. And the ones who are actually good enough don’t seem to care. There are 2 that fit both I think. Gray and Danso.

Here comes our highest paid player in the 84th min of our biggest game of the season. Whilst we can’t put the ball in the net. Lange out.

Didn’t need to change anything at HT. Was doing ok.

Sometimes they can’t win. Do nothing - “we’re sleep walking to relegation” This week, they’ve conjured up a few ideas to get everyone right up for it for what is our most important game of the season. Personally, I’m right behind it.
