    Expectations for 25/26

My whole point was that those ships have sailed. They can't do these things anymore. They'd have to come up with something new every year that's not covered and that is simply not sustainable.

    Expectations for 25/26

Villa is going to be very tight without CL. They'll have to sell someone, if not sometwo. Forest are OK, but not at the level where they can spend like they did. And the barcodes were rescued by the fact they qualified for CL, but that still doesn't mean they have tons of spending room...

    Mathys Tel

I don't think you can put Tel and Ndombele in the same bracket. Tel might not have the raw talent of Tanguy, but he's still a very talented player and, more importantly, his attitude has been exceptional, which is something Frank places a lot of importance on. Good signing in my book.

    Expectations for 25/26

My guess is we won't take the domestic cups too seriously. We'll probably play our B team, so only a favorable draw will see us advance. Especially in the league cup, which starts earlier. The focus is going to be on the league and getting out of the group stage of the CL, which is fine for...

    Cristian Romero

He's clearly an elite defender entering his prime and a serial winner. So I can't help but wonder why the only club interested is Atleti. PSG is going for Zabarnyi, Bayern went for Tah, Real took Huijsen (understandable given he's young and was cheaper), there's no interest from Italy and that's...

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Some more Frank content. I like how he talks to the players, but then again I haven't seen how other managers do their training. Maybe it's the same with almost all of them.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Not so much because we won the EL, but mostly because we were such a train wreck in the league. Add to that the fact that Frank is bringing the pragmatism and adaptability that even the most ardent Ange supporters have been craving and you can see why the reaction is so positive.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

I think with Frank the challenge will be the first season until he gets his principles through. I'm pretty confident he will do much better in his second season. He's not getting found out, that's for sure.

    Luka Vuskovic

I could see Luka in the 6 role. He has all the attributes. Similar role to Dier under Poch. Question is whether he's ready for the PL in such a key position. Might need a year bedding in or might take like a duck to water a la Bergvall. Either way, he's an exceptional talent and a very astute buy.

    Ange departs

We had 8 shots on target and 16 total to their 2 and 13. And if you take away the penalty we had a much higher xG. Granted overall it was very low for both sides, but we were marginally the better one. My point was that we didn't just roll over for them and it wasn't the one-sided affair some...

You can if you're Brentford. Not if you're Spurs, where the fan expectations are quite obviously different.

    Ange departs

Yet we outplayed them in the final, albeit marginally. Now whether that was because they were 1-0 up from the first minute and ceded possession, or it would have played out the same way, even if they hadn't gone up early, is anyone's guess. But we didn't play like underdogs. Far from it. We had...
