How do you listen to music at the gym

I work out 4 times a week and as I go sometimes when it is empty I use the studio and do my own HIT class. Was wondering how you guys listen to music because my airpods always seem to fall out.

Just wondered how you guys listened on what platforms and with what equipment.

Which AirPods have you got, I find the original style stay in my ears better than the third gen. I’m sure others find the opposite.

If they are new you might be able to return and get the other type.

That might be it then because I never used to have this problem.

I don't. If I'm at the gym, I'm there to work out, not listen to music.

If I want to listen to music, I sit in my Ekornes Stressless chair, put on my Beyerdynamic DT990 headphones, and plug them into the receiver connected to my library of lossless music.

I used to use my iphone and airpods/apple music…I do Orange Theory 3 x a week. It’s a guided class which revolves around core strength, cardio and muscle training via isometric-like body mechanics. No class is ever the same. The music is chosen from a series of pieces put together, and the old DJ Steve Aoki is onboard doing program-set mixes. I play football on Tuesdays, whence I leave teamates and others spellbound by my skill and vision; no music is involved (some of that bit might be a lie).

I would suggest the Beats X earbuds on a cord, as they are wireless but connected via a cord which suits around the back of your neck and stay in?

Those look intriguing...can you load them up using Apple Music files?
I don't know. I just copy and paste MP3s on as if it was a USB stick. One good thing about Sony products like these is they don't tie you in to a particular system like iTunes, Spotify or whatever - it's just takes the basic MP3s

Can you use Spotify with them though?

No - they are not web connected. But you can copy 12GB or something of music files directly onto them. They are essentially like external passport drives, but which clip round your ears and are waterproof.

I torrent music rather than stream it, so it's perfect for that.

It’s like posting in the “What happened today thread” - Nothing happened today, but here is some stuff I wanna feel smug about!

Enjoy your fancy chair and your lovey headphones, maybe post about them in the relevant thread? (As a bit of an audiophile myself, I’d like to hear what you listen to!)

I just saw a cry for help from a man whose wife has left him.

;)
