Paris

If you're at the Louvre don't bother queuing for the Mona Lisa.

I'm not a fan of that style of art anyway, but it's about A4 size and 30 feet up on a wall. There's a massive queue to get to it and I don't know a single person who wasn't disappointed with the effort.
Absolutely agree, was a massive let down.

Bitch couldn’t even be arsed to crack a smile when we got there. Tsk.

You do get to see it a lot of times in even smaller format from all the people ahead of you holding up their phones to take a crappy picture.

With limited time I'd rather go to Musee d'Orsay and focus on the impressionist paintings. But it depends on one's preference.

Yes for musee d'orsay. The size of the pompon bear was as pleasant a shock as the size of the mona Lisa was a disappointment.

Now now brain, be fair. There is literally no other way to get an image of the Mona Lisa - one must queue up for hours and take a snapshot.

Just got back, what a brilliant weekend and what a fantastic city
Loved a lot of things, wasn't too much we didn't like if anything
Our hotel was perfect and literally 200 yards from one of the Metro stops which got us everywhere and quick
Would defo go again in a few years

Was right in the middle of the protests yesterday
Teargas deployed, riot police the lot
The protestors were singing the Dele Alli tune so I joined in, 16 weeks in a row of this now, they are not happy

Today the French passport and security staff were doing a work to rule protest over us and Brexit
Was delaying passengers and trains by 3 hours, we waited 90 mins and then I told one of the ladies my mrs was pregnant and felt unwell and we got rushed through security and onto a train leaving 2 hours before us, touch haha

Why would the French passport staff protest about Brexit? it is like me protesting about the cuts in the sanitary department in Mexico city. Very odd.

Glad you had a good time, did the weather hold did you get on a boat on the river? we loved it, very romantic.

The lazy clams were showing everybody how it would be under a no deal Brexit apparently
We had amazing weather and did indeed have a lovely romantic evening boat cruise which led me to putting it up her bum back in the hotel room lately

But why go on striker? One would assume we would just go into the queue with non EU nationals. very odd that a bunch of French civil servants would be so against another country leaving a trading block.

Glad you enjoyed the boat trip we thought it was lovely as well.

Did you use butter to go in the bum, that is what I did in homage to Marlon Brando and last tango in Paris.

If you get an hour to yourself, there are some good brothels up near Montmartre. I remember going there on a sixth form trip (a liberal school was mine)
Can you tell us the names of three of your fave wh0res please (I’m going this summer with the family and it’s time my 13 year old son got cracking)?

Saw seomthng on Facebook yesterday (so totally legit, obviously) about the Belgium Centre of Commerce telling their traders to delay delivery until past the end of the month in an attempt to ramp up pressure on the pending votes...

I wont go as far as to say I believe it, but I do find that sort of EU brickhousery believable.

Apparently France were doing a ''run through' much like the UK did with lorries in Kent . So Part of no deal preparations.

So no strike.. no EU Brickhousery.... Just preparations...

But don't let that stop a good EU bashing story...

fudging telling us about how bendy our bananas should be... What's wrong with British Bananas ???

@Danishfurniturelover @markysimmo

Project fear is still alive and breathing. ;)

Where would you say untruths or PF is coming from? Nayim posts something he "does not believe" from Facebook. The narrative is all about how Europe is trying to make us suffer. Depsite not believing it or having a credible source, its posted anyway. Where is the project fear? All i see is PF from Leave. Or I'm missing something?

I dont understand what your saying there, if your trying to be funny it has gone over my head.

Quite clearly we do not grow Bananas in this country, we import them from other parts of the country. Are you doing that thing where by you put on a deliberate thick persona and pretend to be a brexiter to try make out that people who voted for Brexit are just a bunch of thickos?

Also Marky said they had gone on strike, well why would they need to go on strike, I presume they will not strike when we leave, just deal with us the same way they do non EU citizens who come to the UK. The lines might be slightly longer at transport hubs, but if they are cutting staff or going on strike that seems more like scare mongering. I am only basing this on what a member of this site has said, one not prone to lying. That they were on strike.
