Passed away today aged 63. Seventies disco icon.

Someone who enriched my youth has passed on, I thought they were worth a mention.

If you went to a party in the mid seventies and this went on the music centre everyone's hormones went into overdrive.

R.I.P - that was a big track in the history of dance music and still today you get people remixing it
 
RIP Donna.

Loved her music. In my DJ days from the 80s. One of my opening records would always be 'On the Radio' and one of my favourite tracks was This Time I know its for real
 
Oh that has made me sad, seems quite young really in the grand scheme of things. One of my favourites, been out in the car and they were not playing her records like they often do when a singer dies.

Ah the "music centre" wonderful piece of HI-Fi :D Remember the story went she was actually "doing it" for the moaning bits.

mine too, the memories of grabbing young frauleins on the dance floors of Germany, for the poor feckers to be stuck with a man with all the dancing talents of a puppet with half the strings missing.

in my mind though.................
 
Scara I would have to agree, DS a brilliant voice and helped shape a whole sound, but GHod what a pile of poo Disco is and was
