Although he only played for us for a couple of years, he's a player from "my era", of my early days supporting Spurs, so it resonates just that bit more.
He had his troubles/demons to deal with. The sudden death of his son is beyond imaginable for many of us (thankfully), and witnessing the Bradford fire at first hand must have been absolutely awful.
Sad news, but he can now Rest In Peace.
Tough player who never shirked a tackle. RIP.
