Sad news of Terry Yorath's passing. I remember him fondly. His two seasons with us came at a vital time for Burky, one where Terry's versatility and huge experience was very important as we settled back into Division 1...RIP Terry Yorath...

Although he only played for us for a couple of years, he's a player from "my era", of my early days supporting Spurs, so it resonates just that bit more.
He had his troubles/demons to deal with. The sudden death of his son is beyond imaginable for many of us (thankfully), and witnessing the Bradford fire at first hand must have been absolutely awful.
Sad news, but he can now Rest In Peace.

I remember listening to gabby logan on desert island discs and it was quite tragedy filled life he had, so such sadness.

He certainly was, I remember seeing one game on TV were Ricky Villa did a typical Argentine "tackle" on an opponent and Yorath couldn't stop himself laughing.
