- Bentaleb (relegated from 6 to 42), Yedlin and Chadli have got numbers, despite not being in recent squads

- KWP, Harrison, Glover, Whiteman (never heard of him), Walkes, Amos, Miller and Edwards join Onomah, Winks, 2CV and McGee with the big boys

- Ogilvie and Oduwa the obvious omissions from that age group - a sign they are on their way out (or out on loan)?

- Alli becomes 'Dele' because he hates his dad

Sure. I just meant they (Bentaleb in particular) are not completely completely ostracised, as 'not even being given a shirt number' is sometimes a threat.

I think it was the second Poch named him, Fazio and Pritchard as not in his plans. Even T-shirt Yedlin didn't suffer that ignominy.

Yeah, agreed. I just meant that those players having numbers didn't mean that they were staying.
 
42 is Bentaleb's old number. Maybe he felt it would bring him more luck... Who knows.
