Rough highlights of Prem teams' transfer windows

Really does seem like the Saudis are starting to influence football behind the scenes. Only positive in that is that they seem to prefer Liverpool to Arsenal at the moment.

Yeah, I think these huge American and Saudi businesses can do all sorts of deals and favours and the football is just part of it.

E.g. if Saudi agree to slightly overpay for a few players, the owners of those clubs can do some favours in return off the pitch, related to their other businesses like baseball or whatever megacorp they own, and nothing appears on the UK team's balance sheet except a tremendous sale.

We actually need Spurs/Levy/VV to make some strong connections to some Qatari or Saudi businesses and get the money flowing in return for something, but not sure what we have in return except the club.

we need levy to convince Enic to accept an attractive price for a significant stake in THFC to be financially competitive
