This was from before our interest became firm, but apparently they only wanted an option to buy for €50 million while PSG insisted on an obligation. I guess they couldn't afford him.

Please someone give me reason to be excited about this signing. We have signed a player that only scored 8 in 36 at PSG, didn’t really want to come here given that he turned us down in January, and it’s just a loan. I would have preferred Lookman or Savinho.
