Nottm Forest owner Nigel Doughty, 54, found dead at gym in his home. Club: "We'd like to appeal for privacy at this very sad time."

Everything that could possibly go wrong for Forest pretty much has done.

Without trying to sound insensitive, I was of the impression much of Forrests trouble came from the way the club was managed - would this chap not have been responsible?

Forest could be in major trouble - Doughty bankrolled the club with interest-free loans (just under ?ú50m in the past six years, including a ?ú13m loan to cover all of 2010's losses). It all depends on how Doughty instructed those loans to be dealt with in the case of his demise - maybe he gave some assurances similar to those which Abramovich (I think) put in place at Chelsea.
