Kevin Danso

Frank's tactics/setup often lacks tempo/running, it's one of the reasons Gray/Bergvall often instantly make the team "look" better, you get more natural tempo, more legs (the PL is a running game now) and more ball carry. I still think Bentancur is simply obeying instructions and his passing last year vs. this sort of indicates that.
It's always the manager's fault when things go wrong but the "natural" abilities of a player or two (and apparently willfully ignoring the "tactics/setup") when they go right.

Got it!

Thomas Frank said that Danso hyper-extended his big toe vs Frankfurt when landing on an opponent and snapped a ligament in his big toe.

That sounds like the sort of random little injury that ended Gary Lineker's career i.e. I don't recall the details on Lineker... but snapping a ligament sounds about as bad as it can get for a big toe!

I maintain that Danso landed on Romero or vice versa when competing for one of Spence's silly 100000 ft high crosses.
When we have a corner, we should just put it across as normal rather than laying it back to someone like Spence, IMO.
