David Millblands voice

the prettiest spice girl
It sounds different now not so annoying. Still would not vote for the socialist **** just saying his voice sounds really different, was not watching the news earlier but had it on in the background and had to turn round to see who it was.

Has he had an op? will he be going the full distance and appearing in a dress soon? actually that might make me vote for him. If he just thought fudge it im a useless taco why don't i start wearing a dress and drinking a can of strongbow on the stage, then actually yeah i think i would vote for him.

Didn't he have his adenoids done a while back and still sounded exactly the same?

Maybe he's miming to a voice over now?

Edit - I presume you mean Ed Milliband, rather than David, Chich.

They learn nothing. 4 billion windfall from 4G and they want a stamp duty holiday for houses less than 250k. Whilst I have a 20k stamp duty bill looming. gonad*s.

They will continue to bankrupt the country

£1 trillion in fudging debt and they're still talking about reducing the "cuts"

What fudging cuts?

What a fudged up world we live in

Unless there is an election in the next year Balls won't have a say in how the 4G money is spent. Like the Tories did in opposition, Labour are trying to keep their policies under wraps as late as possible. If they reveal their policies now the good ones will get nicked by the coalition and the Tories will have another couple of years to practice their lines against the bad ones.

So they are just interested in naked power? fudge what's good for the country. I'm genuinely interested in alternative policies if they think they have a silver bullet for our ails. The public seem to think so given the polls at the moment. The idea they have a huge book off winning policies they are keeping under wraps is fantasy IMO.

No cuts. But I'm now very militant on tax evasion. Pay the money or leave. And tax the wealthy. Big time.

good point, if they have good ideas that can help then surely its in their interest to air them, otherwise there might not be a country left to run next time its their turn

Lol. Of course there will be. But the role of opposition ain't just to blindly oppose. You should challenge and put forward alternatives. fudge Tony Blair and what he did to politics in this country. All about presentation and tactics. fudge the voters.

All political parties are interested in power, you cannot change much in opposition. It is just basic electoral strategy, Labour revealing their manifesto now would be suicide. The Tories did the same when they were out of power and will do again the next time they are in opposition. At this stage of the electoral calendar it is more about rallying the troops and trying to build grass route support.

I know. I'm arguing that its a demonstration of what's wrong with the system on both sides of the pond. fudge what's good for the country as long as we have the reins. Labour can have my vote next time. If they have the policies. I doubt it but I have an open mind and I'm not an ideologue.

I think the Republicans official policy has been to oppose whatever Obama wanted to do. They don't have serious policy, they just oppose to make the government fail. Labour seem to be taking the same approach. The only difference is that Labour believe in government whereas the Republicans don't any more.

I think listening to Ed Balls is the most worrying (although Ed reminds me of Mr Bean). Here is a man deeply implicated in the Brown economic policy where government deficits were ramped up when the economy was strong (another thing Labour share with the Republicans). Some of what Labour propose would be sensible policies if it wasn't for their irresponsible handling of the economy. Large government cuts aren't ideal during a recession, but with a huge deficit and large national debt there is no room for a Keynesian alternative. And Balls is responsible as it was during his time (as Brown's #2 or as Chancellor) that they gave up the ideal of balancing the budget during the economic cycle (something Brown claimed to believe in when taking over).

Why Labour have him as shadow Chancellor when he has failed in the job is a sign of their seriousness. Its a bit like putting Bob Diamond in charge of banking reform.

Agree.....if they fudged off Balls they'd be a much more paletable option for me.

Until they do, they aren't.
