Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

I wonder how many of the Levy out phalanx are the same numpties that are painting Red crosses on roundabouts and Dustbins (you read that right some one actually painted a red cross on a dustbin.

A dustbin!!!

The Disrespect of that is outstanding and completely oblivious to them.

Because, statistically speaking, Levy's tenure can be described as a significant improvement over the noughties from a mean of 12th position at its beginning of the decade to 6th at its end and then a reasonably sustained plateau of 4 - 5th in the subsequent decade and a half, excluding last year's outlier.
Either way, the trend is upwards so I was just genuinely curious. I'm also curious what this graph would look like without that outlier haha... guessing that would keep the last 15 years also in an upward trend.

What do you gang make of Levy's son being the CEO of Tavistock?

Did he give the go ahead for his Dad to be removed?
He's a co ceo ... and it indicates long deep rooted ties between the families.. I wouldn't believe half the tabloid waffle and rumour.. we've just got out of transfer season and all the waffle itk that comes with it ... Enic/tavistock are a well run business with few leaks .. think all the noise is just speculation.. it's more likey that this was planned .. 25 yeas is a long time it's a big job and an all consuming one . Wife recently had cancer he's taken us as far as he can and time to ride off into the background and enjoy life .

On Josh he's very sharp and a ceo of a business operating in the same space as mine I don't know him but have met him on a few occasions.. you can never say never but his family bond is strong I couldn't conceive he would be involved in any hostile action against his father .

Again just speculation because unless they tell us we won't flicking know ... and if they tell us it's the cleverly constructed pr story they want to tell , not necessarily the truth .

So all we have is a million media sources peadaling their narrative for engagement that leads to exposure/revenue.

A mentor once told me something that's stuck for over 30 years

The truth is a perception of circumstances determined by need

I think it's a good way to view anything anyone tells you

I'd like to win consistently. I don't really care for being there or thereabouts without any pay off consistently, but that's just me.

The EL win (not the performance) was better for me than just getting to the CL final or our various CL runs (despite some of them being really good). I feel sometimes as far base we've become so allergic to winning that we search for gratification by other means. Consistently almost being there is cool but if you never actually get there, in the end who cares?

I get why people would perform mental gymnastics like that when we weren’t winning things, but we’ve got the ultimate ammunition now that we’ve just won a trophy.

Wait, I thought Tavistock did own ENIC? As per Wiki and this:

The main holding company of the Club is Tottenham Hotspur Limited (“THL”), incorporated in the UK with its registered address at Lilywhite House.

85.6% of the share capital of THL is owned by ENIC Sports Inc., which is in turn 100% owned by ENIC International Limited (“ENICIL”); both of these entities are incorporated in the Bahamas. 14.4% of THL is owned by private shareholders, most likely fans who took the opportunity to purchase shares when they were readily available through previous flotation on the London Stock Exchange.

ENICIL is in turn ultimately owned 70.6% by Joe Lewis and 29.4% by Daniel Levy, although the mechanism by which these shares are held is not entirely clear. ENICIL is listed as part of the Tavistock Group, which appears to be the vehicle through which Joe Lewis manages his interests in a multiplicity of companies spanning property, hospitality, restaurants, energy retail, technology, agriculture and finance (Portfolio – Tavistock Group). The precise legal form of the Tavistock Group is unclear – it bills itself as an “international investment organisation” and does not publish financial statements. Joe Lewis is assumed to own 100% of Tavistock but there is some unverifiable online comment suggesting there may be a small number of minority interests.

As opposed to a soulless Brit in charge now 😀 I just want the best for the club. As long as they’re not criminals I don’t really care where they are from, I want the best and most qualified people for the job as in any walk of life.
Levy had a soul. He just sold it to the devil for an excellent price, a few minutes before the transfer deadline closed.

I'm on the side of Levy out but don't believe this is true

Unless something extraordinary happened very recently, like banning that fan who posted stupid stuff from the club.

I agree with your sentiments to an extent but virtually everyone is contrite when they have been been caught out and may be suffering the penalties of their actions, the courts are full such cases. We live in a world where few seem aware there are consequences to their actions.
Correct.

Punishments under the law have to follow...the law

In this case the club did something highly unexpected.

I hope this had nothing to do with Levy stepping down. The timing is unusual. The suddenness is also unusual. No bye bye video for the true servant of the club is also weird. So different when Son left.
