Still prefer Ricky to Solanke at the moment. 9 games out of 10 he gives his absolute all and whilst his pressing isn’t as good think he causes more problems for the defence. Hoping Dom has another level up once he’s fully fit, but ultimately it will be good for them both to battle it out and...

Yeah it’s tricky as we can’t play Romero and VDV every match. At some point we’ll have to trust Danso to come in to give them a rest.

FWIW I hadn’t even heard this happened and had to look it up. My first thought is that Michael Scott in the office makes the same joke, and pretty sure Ricky Gervais makes the joke in one of his stand-ups.. So, it’s clearly a joke and I was going to rant about how come it’s fine for them but a...

100% this. Any clubs not receiving the initial CL and Sky money were at a huge disadvantage, then two clubs getting Oligarch cheat mode made the gap even larger. I can remember around 2004 (had a season ticket at the time) thinking it’s possible we’d never be in the CL in my lifetime. Yet 20...

The striker whose name I cannot spell without Googling (Woltemade) is absolute quality. Wish we had signed him.

Even against City Johnson couldn't celebrate his goal because the Lino had put the flag up (even though it wasn't offside). Don't understand flagging after a goal is scored unless they are sure it's offside.

What gets me is that they are always wrong in favor of the bigger team. Even we've had a few. When have Burnley, Fulham, Wolves etc. ever had dodgy decisions resulting in goals against a top team? Never is when.

It's all part of the journey... my first game was a 0-1 loss to Emirates Marketing Project in 1991 and it was an awful game, don't think Lineker touched the ball lol But, it made the future victorious all the more sweeter. A special time though, loved taking my daughter for her first match. In her case Ndombele...

Credit to Bournemouth, I don’t think I’ve seen a team come here for a long time and be as up for it as they are. Just hope they tire.

Incredible. I know we've def given away free-kicks for having attackers stand on our feet. That's such a carbon copy given the other way. Just makes playing the games pointless if the rules are so inconsistent as to be the opposite.

One thing's for sure, the other way around that isn't disallowed in a million years. Bias towards the "bigger" teams is close to ruining the Premier League, as bad as it's ever been even with VAR imo.

    João Palhinha

Very impressed how he’s just slotted into the team and looks at home from the first minute. Would never guess he’s a new signing. 2 excellent performances so far, and seems to be enjoying it.

Either of those guys for #10 and Savinho and I’d be happier than if we had Eze. Our team (and backup) would be kind of ridiculous :)

    Savinho

It is objectively better for us as a club to spend £70m on a player that could be performing well with us for 4-5 years (and have a chance of reaching the top, top level), than spending £70m on a player who will be 29 in less than 2 years and past his peak. When we only have the budget for X...
