    Expectations for 25/26

5th or 6th and all a bit boring wouldn't be too bad at all as it would mean a decent record at home. But I think the players will want to do well in all competitions. Certainly a CL quarter final would be great or a FA Cup semi or Final - why not?

    Mikey Moore

Have to say I do prefer to see a pen blasted in, as Mikey did, rather then the slomo "hip hop" that Son and Solanke do. Of course a goal is a goal, but the Kane way is for me the most satisfying.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Beat the arse at home. Win the FA Cup. That's what I want from Mr Frank. Yes top 4 or 5 would be good but there WILL be hiccups along the way. Get that FA Cup though, and the Spurs I grew up loving will be back on track.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

I would have sworn I saw that on the OS a week ago? Mind playing tricks or spending far too much time on the web?

    Fixture & Ticket News 2024/25

I thought there would have been quite a few folk not renewing their STs this season after all the moaning we hear about the Chairman and our crap league season, but no chance. I wanted to move further back from row 5 in block 256, but naff all available unless you want to sit right up towards...

Contingency planning : we've found our guy

Poch was the right guy at the right time I’m not sure if he is a great coach or not. Blimey! Some folk are hard to please.

    Vinai Venkatesham - CEO

Re The golden badger has laid its egg. Nine times has the moon traversed its path, since first the tiger left the mountain...(hint, could be ITK...)

    Ange departs

There's a small part of me which wonders what would have happened if Ange had stayed. Could he have got a newly confident group of players to perform superbly in the league? But the Chairman and Board were presumably able to ask questions and get answers to questions which we don't know about...

    Ange departs

Still not sure why furloughing staff during Covid, riled some folks. It was perfectly legal and above board, no reason not to, and i think many football clubs did it.............

    Ange departs

The medical and conditioning team have apportioned blame for the injuries on the coaching team I haven't seen this, is there a source? We all knew Ange's kamikaze defending was partly to blame but if the Medical dept had data to prove that, it must have helped make the Board's mind up.

    Ange departs

But have we not just removed a guy who has instilled a true will to win a group of players ? No, the players have proved again and again that losing is ok if it's the Ange way.

Contingency planning : we've found our guy

But ultimately it’ll mean nothing. It does mean that those of us who pay for our STs and seats might go to the Lane expecting us not to be a goal down before 10 minutes is up.

    Ange departs

As Madders said "his self-belief is probably his biggest strength" - which is another way of saying he's a crap football coach.

    Ange departs

I didn't like the way Ange bristled at the suggestion his role was in jeopardy, the "why am I even being asked about my future?" comments. If he couldn't see that our "unacceptable" (his word) league position was reason to question him, it meant he is out of touch. His arrogance and self-belief...

Contingency planning : we've found our guy

The fanbase united against Gattuso in a way I've seldom seen before, Nonsense, just the Twitterati, I couldn't give a fudge about what he had said about women and football in the past

    Leaving statement: Ange

    Ange departs

I'm sad because IF Ange was prepared to employ the best coaches under him, and let them organise the structure, while he just acted as a kind of motivator, it might have been great. But maybe he thinks there were no issues to address...

    Ange departs

I wonder what Ryan Mason told Levy about Ange? Praise or scorn?

    Ange departs

If Ange wasn't going to change the way he sets up the team - he had to go. Sad but true.

    Ange departs

The league went to brick in the first instance with all the injuries....caused by the kamikaze defending we do because of his ludicrous tactics. What is the point of all our high-intensity pressing and turnovers leading to scoring goals, if we leak more goals at the other end???
