    Unlucky with the deflection 😕

Credit to the medical team to stand their ground under the pressure of taking him off that early in the game. Seen some claims online that he overplayed it and that’s why he got so upset when taken out of play, but really seems to been a serious knock to the head.

    Kevin Danso

Indeed that was great leadership! It looked like Danso foresaw the situation and quickly got to Scarlett before it could become a too obvious "thing" of who will take the penalty, kinda protecting him from it. Great character

Yes, It's defenitely the more comfortable approach. You get to do that choice in life on a regular basis, often keeps you stagnant.

Gamedays during covid shined a light on what the fans brings to the table. The lap of appreciation is important imo, sure it's not easy if there's abuse, but shying away from the connection with the fans will just widen the gap further and compund the issue

***Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea***, Premier League, Nov 1st 2025 at White Hart Lane

I bet Xavi would have dominated on the pitch today if he would have made the decision to bee a Chelsea player

Didn't look "ACL-y" with Xavi luckily

    Xavi Simons

Could very well be the case. Seen similar with Maddison after the injury. I recall him pre-injury to be much more explosive, like the way he turned Saka in the NLD, but post injury he lost that extra yard

    Xavi Simons

There's definitely a player there, but he lookes a bit "jet lagged" kinda? He knows what he should do and do it to some extend, cut left, cut right etc but he lacks a bit explosivness to really take advantage of it, often get caught up by the defender and fall over or pass it backwards...

There was a QR code on the big screen and people could vote using the phone, no info revealed on how many that actually voted however!

Bergvall got subbed at half time when Sweden lost to Kosovo 0-1, but still got man of the match voted by the crowd. I attended the match and he was ok, but the formation of the team was brick and he suffered from it.

    Dominic Solanke

About the "try to push thorugh" part, a person close to me playing top-tier football had an small issue with a knee, and team doctors primary goal was to have it heal without surgery, and their reason was that cutting you open and doing the surgery is a one way door that could cause you more...

**** OMT Tottenham Hotspur FC v Bodo Glimt ****

He literally walked in to the penalty area and could take the shot without any pressure....

I want that "Clean sheet Mentality" fully embedded 😆

    Cristian Romero

I don't want to instigate something, but looking at the replay of Brightons first goal, it looks like Romero gave up when Vicario went at Minteh and got over runned. Could Romero have covered the goal line if he continued the run and threw himself at the goal line?
