***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa***, PL, Sat 19th Sept 2026

To be fair I thought Gray was just as busy and was threatening - unlucky not to score soon as he came on....

Solanke scored 29 goals one season in the Championship. Bumping the Lankshear thread every time he scores a goal in the Championship seems pointless to me, I'll wait until he's doing the business in the Premier League before crying about it....

Would love to be alive to see that day where everyone is available :D....

We have enough attacking option on the bench - a more attacking LB, Maddison, Bergvall, Kudus even Gallagher can add something in the 10. There are plenty of combinations to combine attacking wise and someone had to miss out on- Tel has been out of form, and has been played most games this...

No we just have a strong bench, someone has to miss out:

No Tel on bench. Good to take him out of the firing line for a bit, let him reset. Still hope for him IMO. Also must say even with some longer term injuries, our bench is very strong....

His forward passing was very good, definitely in the mould of Van Hecke....

    Luka Vuskovic

Could have sworn Tel, Gray, Bergvall, Odobert and more have played plenty for us. Seems like a very weird stick to beat Spurs with - it's more a case of some not liking the young players we are ok getting rid of, rather than Spurs not wanting to give any young players a chance...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Icardi has been linked everywhere :D And he's been linked by the likes of Football 365 - Going to have to try harder than that for evidence the club are panicking....

    Mathys Tel

I've long been someone who believes in the potential of Tel, but that's all it is at this stage. And this season he has regressed somewhat from what I was seeing at the back end of last season - and that's fine, he's 21 so to be expected whether it be confidence or just general loss of form...

    ***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool***

I never thought we was going to win because it was Liverpool at Anfield :D All of last season I remember bricking it everytime the opposition got the ball. I never got that feeling last night or in the past couple of games, I felt more excitable at chances we created and should have scored vs...

    ***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool***

Well regardless of result I enjoyed watching us play football, our passing was good and broke the line multiple times with some really good moves against an aggressive press - that's not something we have been good at for some time. Also encouraging was the fact only 2 of that team started the...

    ***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool***

Literally every Premier League side rotates pretty heavily for the Carabao cup these days. We have to consider squad harmony with those that haven't played much if at all along with managing fitness etc Our squad is actually much better depth wise and even with a good few changes it doesn't...

Makes sense with what he says here, and with a little time allowing for players to settle and recover from injuries things will look up:

    Next Manager Thread (2026 Edition)

Think the defence and midfield are beginning to look pretty solid tbh, last couple of seasons we've been constantly overrun and I'm not really seeing that now. The attack is often the last thing to come together, and with a combination of injuries especially the no.10 position and new signings...

    Richarlison

Yeah funny that, almost like there was more to it than such a rumour. But hey, if it's so simple to an armchair football fan the reality of the situation is obviously just as simple - After all we really struggled to sell other players who didn't want to be here, couldn't possibly be more to...
