Glasner banked up on our wing play to stop us, but it blunted his own attack as well. I thought for the home team going out against an uncoordinated side they were really poor and lacked conviction.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but did him not "win" a free kick down at the goal line late on?

I think the logic is that the defenders instinct is to pull out of the challenge giving the attacker an unfair advantage, and do you really want to encourage players to be throwing their heads at opposition feet.

    Happy birthday

I love that the last item we got was a ball, if that doesn't sum us up then I don't know what does. Spurs, Do you fancy a game of football? Opponent, yes, do you have a ball? Spurs, no, but we've got stamps.

This time last season this geezer was showing us videos about how Frank was going to revolutionise spurs. Remind me how that turned out again.

I know this is tempting fate but I wouldn't put much stock on anyone who chooses to leave a reasonably successful club to join forest, his judgement must be suspect.

Any fine incurred by the club our Poch for that incident should now be reimbursed by PGMOL. Won't happen as that is them admitting to guilt, even though their employees (and it is employees, he clearly repeatedly says we) have stated they are not trustworthy.

    Richarlison

At some point it's not going to be about the money, it's going to be about him feeling wanted. If Everton are not willing to pay him how is he going to feel comfortable that he will be treated right.

    Richarlison

Maybe Richie felt he was being taken advantage of, would you be happy to go to an employer who treated you like that, especially after he's had bad experiences elsewhere. He wants support, doesn't sound like Everton were offering it.

I watched the ref watch spot on sky sports on Monday, all about utd and maguires hand ball. No mention of the penalty at spurs. If that was an isolated incident I could understand it, but apparently we've went a record 40 PL games without a penalty, at what point does someone say "hang on, maybe...

    Transfer thread

It's easy to argue that our identity was a weak and loser club. certainly lots of people, some respected, some just mouthy clams, have said so. The conundrum is whether it was the club affecting the players or the players bringing it to the club. Most likely both, a bad combination. We badly...

    Johan Lange - Sporting Director

I'd worry about any defence if it had the injuries we've had over the last three seasons. Agree on the shield in front of the defence, I don't think our defence has looked solid since we lost the spaghetti monster and we've never replaced him.

    Johan Lange - Sporting Director

On paper the defence may look weaker, in real life I'm not yet convinced it is. Romero and mvdv never looked like a good pairing to me. They were OK, but lesser than the sum of their parts. If mvdv can forge a better partnership with jpvh the I think we could be stronger.

    Transfer thread

With the loss of Sarr, Romero, Richie, danso, Spence and even Vic we have lost some of our identity and connections. The results of the last two seasons mean that may not be a bad thing, they have to carry some of the responsibility for that, and with maddison and kulu out injured we really need...

    Richarlison

His comments felt more like a dig at Everton if anything, looked like they were trying to get him on lower wages and he's not having it. Rightly so. He always gave everything, some may say he didn't have enough to give, he'll always be one of us and I wish him well in his life.
