Naughty Emirates Marketing Project - Spot of Compo??

Probably exceed their reach? As long as City's accounts showed that they were being paid the sponsorship money by the right company then all their ducks were in a row as far as the PL could summise. What jurisdiction would the PL have had to investigate the accounts of the sponsors?

Naughty Emirates Marketing Project - Spot of Compo??

Yeah I'd have thought that falsifying accounts in order to circumvent a football competitions rules doesn't meet the freshold for criminal fraud

Naughty Emirates Marketing Project - Spot of Compo??

It's not really a good look if any punishment dished out sees City back as a top force within a couple of seasons - would essentially give the thumbs up to large scale cheating over many years. I think we'll see an unprecedented level of punishment here i really do

Naughty Emirates Marketing Project - Spot of Compo??

Yeah - Citys rise really fudged with our progress under Redknapp

Naughty Emirates Marketing Project - Spot of Compo??

Shame we're so brick and not in a position to really take advantage

Naughty Emirates Marketing Project - Spot of Compo??

I think if City fail to get appropriately punished it may well kill off my already wavering interest in the game tbh

Naughty Emirates Marketing Project - Spot of Compo??

Spread it out over a 10 year period or whatever the length of time the charges are. You cheat for ten years you should be punished over 10 years. 31 point deduction every season

    Levy's Plan

Without City and Chelsea being sportwashing enterprises the landscape changes - we qualify for the CL sooner/more often which in turn gives us a better shot at establishing ourselves and competing for not only the trophies directly won by those two but everything else that was up for grabs in...

Naughty Emirates Marketing Project - Spot of Compo??

They absolutely should be deeming these breaches of the rules as a failure of fit and proper ownership and that City can not register with the league, moving forwards, with the current owners in place.

    ENIC

Moutinho was 3rd party ownership iirc Edit : see it's covered William was no different to Ndiaye this summer or Eze last or Petit way back when - bigger/better club came in to steal the player from under our noses. Happens all the time and something we have benefitted from ourselves on deals

Naughty Emirates Marketing Project - Spot of Compo??

Yes but the the key point here is that 'they' inherited the problems of the previous regime whereas with City the current owners are the ones culpable - so it's apples and oranges

Naughty Emirates Marketing Project - Spot of Compo??

Isn't it different with Chelsea because it was the new owners 'self reporting' issues from before they took over?

Tbf, having ambition and cheating aren't mutually exclusive

    Levy's Plan

I think that a clubs footballing department should have/needs to have an input beyond just kowtowing to whoever happens to be the manager at any given time. If we're giving a manager free reign then our footballing department is weak and needs improving. We'd have sold Bale before he kicked on...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

You say we're winning the funnel, which i agree is what we are *starting* to see, briefly in the Everton and Villa games, but unless the attacking unit do their part too it will not carry us far. Goals win you games, if you're not creating chances you're not likely to score many goals, if you're...
