Yang needs some finishing practice but his head didn’t drop in fairness to him. Donley looked comfortable and assured on the ball. Don’t think Bergvall is any better than him? LWB looks good, few bad crosses in but that can be worked on. Very much a run out for the younger players, suspect...

They’re all different *apparently* but if you have a generic Live events /football hub section its allegedly on Preseason channel 1. Or so someone walking down my street just shouted

Bit of a mystery to me Osimhen. Looks amazing in highlights but any time I’ve seen him play a full game that’s not against us he’s looked clunky

Didn’t he do an interview when Frank was here saying he still believes in the football that Ange wanted to play and spoke of the respect he had for him? I think he adored Ange. As mentioned above he’s a defender that likes to attack

Inter in for John Stones now apparently. Think this could derail the Romero deal?

    James Maddison

The only aspect of the captain’s role we see on the pitch, but there’s a lot more to it. How they conduct themselves around the training ground, interactions with staff, media duties, extra work for the club in the community etc. There are standards that need to be set so others can follow. I...

    James Maddison

Helps when the captain has a history of missing around a third of the season through injury or suspension - Romero for the past season and if as expected Maddison is announced his career has shown around 10-15 games a season missed through injury

Is this the footage the coaching staff will use to analyse the game? Be hard to get anything from it

The quick sales of youth players is obviously in an attempt to chip away at balancing the books and get 100% profit in for a player. Does hint to struggling to offload other players a touch to me. Surely Richarlison could get a move with 1 year left? Not even seen him linked away. I get the...

If he’d done it publicly to Frank I would have been in favour of a pay rise

I’m hoping he’s been a victim of the poor medical team rather than a player who can’t cut it in the prem. When he plays we have a natural balance to the team with him being left footed. Hopefully this year can be an improvement for him

Agree that this sort of sale is common in football, part of me is disappointed still. Is he the only player we have had who won that PL2 POTY award? Would have liked to see him do well at us but that’s true of all our players

I think last season he, along with the majority of the squad, didn’t rate the managers we had until RDZ. Him and VDV definitely prefer playing front foot football and that’s when we can see the best of him. When fit under Ange he was good. I think he would be good under De Zerbi, but after the...

World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

The assistant pretty much said at half time that they were waiting for Argentina to flag and for the energy of the premier league players to carry them through. It didn’t happen and they seemed devoid of any ideas after that. Quite like what you see in Europe when some English teams go out. When...
