    26/27 Season Predictions

Do I vote now with all the pre-season optimism that’s not been tainted by reality, or wait until the window closes and the familiarity of being underwhelmed has had chance to settle in? I’d love to get back in the Europa league and win it again next season but due to the level of investment...

To be fair we were in for the manager last year too

    Savinho

Near enough all our signings this summer improve the first 11. The question of price therefore should only be whether it affects our ability to improve in the next transfer window. I’ve always thought Savinho looked exciting. A winger who can take on a player at full speed. Will get fans out...

    ENIC

I don’t mind saying I was cynical of the Nepos and VV after the car crash of last season. The attempt to control the narrative and have the press refer to them as the Lewis family rather than ENIC despite it still being the latter who control the club made me think it was an exercise in optics...

    The Centre Forward thread

I personally see nothing remotely good about Delap. Kevin Davies with more running

    James Maddison

He’ll never get back to the level before these injuries. If he’d been 5 years younger then maybe but don’t see it

    Cody Gakpo

Can’t take that Plettinburg seriously since the Kane transfer summer when someone kept making his forehead bigger in pictures. And he definitely saw it all

    Victor Osimhen

Apparently we’d have to pay around 500k a week to come close to matching his current wages after tax

    Cristian Romero

Good luck to him. If he was born in a different era he would’ve been sensational. VAR (and bad judgement on his part) mean playing in his style is a thing of the past

    Pedro Porro

Bit awkward for Senesi’s first day in training I imagine

Announce tomorrow or early Saturday before the friendly game would make sense. Walk out holding the scarf etc

    Djed Spence

Don’t think it’s that myself. De Zerbi spoke about meeting all the players and any who wanted to leave being allowed to, Spence may have been thinking of it and after a good World Cup his stock had rose so more clubs interested than before. Before the WC squad was announced there was talk of...

    Djed Spence

Good luck to him. Rarely shied away or let us down when called upon. Can’t help but feel this stunts Gray’s development more as he’ll be the natural back up for Porro who will inevitably get injured this season. Sale only makes sense to me if the player wanted to leave, and while his stock...

    New Kit?

I like it, especially the collar. Think someone knocked up an image of what our home kit would be if we’d used this design and it looked great

    Pre Season Thread

A couple season’s back we were getting negative press for going to Australia on a post-season tour, but I can the benefits of that rather than pre-season due to the jet lag side effects impacting preparations for the new season.

    Cristian Romero

Everyone wants (or at least understands the reasons for) Romero to be gone this summer. No one is going to lose any sleep over it. However, them lot would see it as a victory to take our current captain and would celebrate it despite that. So Atletico for me. Plus I think I’ll enjoy watching...

    Cristian Romero

Discussion for a different day but Pogba could easily be described as world class in my opinion. Think he could arguably be one of the most talented footballers to ever play in the prem, could do everything. Never lived up to it a NBd delivered though. Get your point about Muani though
