No point even asking for a pen anymore

For me his role in this team is the physicality first, goal scoring second. No one else in the squad can play with their back to goal, maybe Kudus but he’s had no experience as CF in the prem to my knowledge. When we signed Solanke I accepted his limitations

Seems Solanke is the spacegoat in Tel’s absence

I’d be annoyed if that pen was given against us to be honest We deserve something from this

I remember Boaz Myhill having a career best performance for Hull against us in around 2009. Can sense Japanese remake happening today

Think no one can register any more players until January? Emergency loan conditions might have a loophole but only ever heard of them being used for keepers

    Marcos Senesi

I thought he played alright midweek? On the ball he’s very comfortable, perhaps too comfortable for some. In games where we will expect to dominate the ball he’ll be more effective than when we’re pinned back

Would love to see Marmoush, Savio, Kudus and Solanke all start but don’t see it happening. Limits options from the bench if they were to start I suppose. Looked like Bentancur took a knock midweek so not sure if he’ll bench him to be cautious? Hopefully Fernandes alongside Bergvall or Tonali if...

Can only speak for me but I had a bit of negativity with his signing, underwhelmed I suppose, but that was mixed in with not being a fan of the Mudryk deal and they were lumped in together. He’s was good on Tuesday, he won’t be first choice so might not start a game again now until near...

Hope Fernandes starts in the deeper role. We had more control in the game on Tuesday when he was on playing there

Feel like I’ve seen this one before. An Emery team sitting back and soaking up our horseshoe pressure in the hopes of hitting us on the break. Flipside is that we owe someone a hiding. Long overdue

Marmoush will be great up front when there’s a player behind who can find him. Solanke will be good for tough games where he needs to battle physically, like Gallagher being picked for Forest away. All this talk of him being a nice guy and soft don’t take away from the fact he’s a big lump that...

Just got home and not watched anything back yet. Thought we played well in spells, lack of a goal threat is still an issue but thought we could have scored a few tonight - Bergvall in the first half and looked like a good save late in the 2nd. It’s slowly coming together. I can see the plan. I...

Just start him even if he’s not registered. What’s the worst that can happen? One game he was always up for. Wasn’t he the highest scoring player against Liverpool still playing in the prem last season?
