    I know a few people who have met him and know him well. And he's genuinely a kind person according to them. He's fair and compassionate. However the job can make a monster out of angel in the pulbic eyes. I'm really hopeful though. And he is using the same marketing team as Mamdani.

    I think the that case merits some discussion. I think what he did was disgusting but I can see the argument. This is the thing with hate speech as a concept. Inciting hate is down to interpretation of a jury. Tricky.

    Don't think his motives are clear. He looks like a deranged loner of anything. Whether he has far right or far left links is less important than understanding what radicalised him. And whether he was neglected by the system at all before he did this crime. I am just sad.
