Anecdotal, but I’ve worked with people who aren’t white who fully support a credible immigration plan. Put simply, they’re not against immigration—they just believe there need to be reasonable limits.

I don’t disagree. But I’m not sure people really care what the plan is, or even whether there is one. All they hear is another party making promises that they will “deal with” the situation. They should be held to the same standard as the government and the opposition and be expected to produce...

And parties like Reform and Restore will continue to win support and make inroads until both the government and the opposition come up with a credible plan to address immigration. Obviously, people like Farage go too far in the other direction, but the general public clearly doesn’t have...

I actually liked Fauci during Covid and generally felt that he was doing his best in an incredibly difficult and unprecedented situation. I don’t think he was acting maliciously, and I respected the fact that he was trying to give people guidance during a frightening time. That said, I think...

It’s the worst forward line we’ve had in the PL era. The bookies have us finishing in the top 6. I can only assume they are working on the assumption that we will sign some quality forwards because we ain’t getting there without some signings. I don’t foresee us jumping 11 places in the table...

    Cristian Romero

He would probably get away with more stupid fouls playing for Arsenal than he does for us given how lenient the officials seem to be when it comes to them. He likes living in London too from all accounts. I don’t think he’s better than Gabriel. They both play like scumbags on the pitch so they’d...

    *** Official TV Thread ***

Just started watching The Pitt. Outstanding show. Only 2 episodes in but it seems remarkably realistic judging by the reactions from the medical community. My wife can’t handle more than an episode per night as the show is very fast paced and chaotic but I’d binge it in one day if I could.

Agree on all counts. As you said, Udogie was very good for six months and just hasn’t been able to return to those levels consistently, not to mention his repeated injuries.

Waste of space. Along with Udogie.

For all the bullishness about our chance of bouncing back, who do people see scoring the goals for us? It’s still the biggest glaring weakness in our team and I just don’t see where the goals are going to come from despite the efforts we’ve made to improve the defensive unit and the midfield...

    Terribly one sided article.

Pretty sure Mitchell finally got one right about Mortimer after getting it wrong every time before. Love how much is stresses him out trying to decide if Bob is lying or not 😂

    Cristian Romero

Totally agree. That’s why I stay very level headed with transfer news, incoming or outgoing until it’s on the club website. I don’t get excited about potential signings until it’s a done deal. Especially given when we’ve had some high profile near misses. The same principle should be applied...

    Cristian Romero

I just don’t see us selling to them. And as much as I see Romero wanting to play for them, he has to know he wouldn’t be first choice.
  20. Jurgen the German

    Cristian Romero

It’s plausible that he would want to play for them. But I don’t see why they’d want him. He’d be a downgrade on their existing CB’s, and I don’t even rate Gabriel that highly.
