    ***OMT Tottenham Hotspur Football Club v Nottingham Forest***

    Nuno v Marinakis. No sort of quandary. NES has got them fighting and deserves it in my view. Much as I dislike them in general.

    Cheatski are still scum

    They are never going to impose serious sporting sanctions on clubs they know can afford to fight them all the way in the courts and potentially show them up as just a paper tiger. They'll only ever go after the low-hanging fruit. The ones for whom the cost of losing a legal battle would be...

    Mathys Tel

    He offers us something, although I doubt that it's ever going to be elite finishing. He's lively and tricky though; if we had better natural goalscorers in the side, I think he could end up with decent numbers of assists. He's grown in my estimation.

    Randal Kolo Muani

    He's been more Randall and Hopkirk for most of his time here. Hopefully a corner turned.

    The best thing is you find yourself going, "Maybe Tudor has got some idea after all."

    *** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Atletico Madrid ***

    Well, they gave it a good go, but realistically, the tie was lost in the first 20 minutes of the game in Madrid. I don't mind. Full focus now on Sunday, and there are definite positives to take into what's ahead from these last two outings. COYMFS

    You're probably right. If it was handled properly, I could see a possible benefit, but this is Tottenham.

    Does he still need a "Head of Morale" brought in? Someone who, in the words of .... Oh, I don't know ... Harry Redknapp, let's say, would "go in there and just give the place a lift"? ... Or would that just inevitably create mixed messaging?

    One swallow doesn't make a summer; it's clear there is still a hell of a lot of work to be done. Our median return from the 8 games remaining (4H+4A) is 6.5 points. The median for both West Ham and Forest is 8 points. For Leeds, it's 9.5. It's probably going to go to the wire.

    A deserved point. The effort was there, just (as always) lacking that touch of quality and finesse. Let's build on this. Does Tudor keep his job after that showing,, or do we still risk another twist?

    If this was Arѕe, Mysteron Agent Mikel Arteta would be rolling around the floor screaming and crying outside Richard Masters's office until they agreed a postponement, clinging to radiators as they tried to prise him away.

    +++OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool+++

    I'll take a wild guess that we'll find some way to disadvantage ourselves and concede at least one, probably early on, not through Liverpool being particularly good, but as a result of us doing something stupid that you wouldn't expect to see from a team of under-8s.

    On the other hand, that's exactly the sort of story you put out when you're getting ready to deny responsibility when it all goes south and point the finger elsewhere. The truth is, we've been sleepwalking towards relegation since Christmas, and results had been indifferent for a while before...
