    Financial Fair Play

Re: O/T Financial Fair Play Fair points in turn. We're dealing in hypotheticals we'll never know the answer to. As I say I think we would have done better had Chelsea and City not won the lottery. But the definite fact is Arsenal and Utd have both finished above us every season this century...

    Financial Fair Play

Re: O/T Financial Fair Play That's kind of my point, Arsenal and Utd would have dominated without Chelsea and City, so it can be argued they made the lge more competitive. As for us, we've finished behind Arsenal and Utd every season this century so I see no cause to believe we would have...

    Financial Fair Play

Re: O/T Financial Fair Play As has been said it can easily be argued that Chelsea and City have made the league more competitive. I think Scudamore would argue this, so probably would Sky and Samuels. Without the sugar daddies how many titles would United have won, the mind boggles. The Prem...

+ OMT - Spurs vs Man Utd +

Well said and I'm surprised at the negativity too. Or maybe not, but I don't share it.

+ OMT - Spurs vs Man Utd +

Well said - I honestly am not frightened of the United team and I hope our players won't be either. Let's give it a go.

**Official Other Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13** Without RVP, Utd would be near the top, and nowhere near mid-table. But more importantly to me Arsenal would be nearer to us than they are now. IMHO

    The Goon Thread

We're talking about this season. You prefer Brad, I prefer Chesney, it's unlikely either of us could come up with cast iron stats to win the argument either. To me Chesney just looks like a better keeper.

    The Goon Thread

Everybody might know now about Friedel's big flaw , but it took a lot of lobbying by us Lloris fans before it seemed to register with a lot of Brad fans. Also the goal I, or rather Windy, highlights, precisely shows poor decision-making by Brad, being in the wrong starting position. Given he's...

    The Goon Thread

Friedel's consistently average at Prem level I'll give him that, but Chesney has more in his locker. I'd pick him over Brad all day long. Here's a classic example on today's NewsNow of why Brad rarely keeps clean sheets these days...

**Official Other Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13** For the first time this season, AFAIK, we're now now favourites to finish ahead of Arsenal. Only very slightly, but the momentum might just start to be with us now. We're also ahead of them in the form table.

**Official Other Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13** Exactly, some/many Spurs fans were moaning a lot over the QPR draw. For me it was a decent result before the Arsenal game, and it's even more decent now.

I don't think Utd will beat us.

    The Goon Thread

There's no doubt in my mind that Chesney is better than Friedel, by a fair distance I'd say. He's not as good as Lloris, but it's close,. For me, he's one of the better keepers in the Prem. Massive result for us today, and as I've said elsewhere our result v QPR was better than theirs, plus...

    [[OMGT - Tottenham vs QPR]]

Looks an even more decent result now, better than three of our four main challengers. There's now a big gap between us and Pool with games running out. Arsenal now can't catch us by simply winning their game(s) in hand. I fancy us to beat Everton anyway, but given Swansea's fixture list...

    [[OMGT - Tottenham vs QPR]]

So far over this weekend out of our main challengers we've done better than Everton and Liverpool and worse than Chelsea, so it looks a decent result so far. If Arsenal draw at home to City I'd say that was about the same level of result.

We'll do well to get 9 from our next 4. I'd take 8 now.

Brilliantly said Golfball =D> A lot won't listen to me, I hope they'll listen to you.

    Hugo Lloris

Another top performance and clean sheet, from a top, top keeper. For me, the best in the country.
