    ***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton Wanderers, Molineux, Sat 25th April, 3pm - ***

Cannot believe Udogie is straight out again. Have us such better balance last week naturally staying wide and pushing Xavi inside. Would not be surprised to see Spence start tomorrow but if we need a goal, then Souza may come on.

    Destiny Udogie

Made of glass. Need to move him on. When you only have one competent left footed left back, you can’t afford for him to be injured as often as Udogie.

And then hired Tudor. Where as they took someone with Prem experience.

    Conor Gallagher

I’m not rushing to judge him. I judged him on this forum before he kicked a ball for us. The sum of his attributes is being a busy pressing 8 that can pick up the odd goal. We’ve not had either of those things from him yet. Maybe RDZ unlocks those, then maybe he can offer something over nothing.

Pretty unreal they rock up with no Wharton, Sarr and Mateta.

The *WHEN* we go down thread

I get the sentiment but probably wouldn’t get much game time at one of the good clubs and wouldn’t get much out of being loaned to a Coventry. Maybe a Bournemouth. Better option for me, stay with us and tear it up.

    Xavi Simons

Yeah outside of Tel I’m not sure who else would go there. Annoyingly I do think he has something. When he powered round the outside of the LB on Saturday he showed good pace. Just all too fleetingly and with a general lack of overall effort.

    Xavi Simons

It’s probably been said since the game but Xavi actually worked on the left for one reason - he had a left footed left back behind him. The difference it makes to balance, shape, etc with the overlap. With Spence behind him, Xavi was often the widest player where he can’t hurt you. Having that...

Good analysis on MOTD. Porro decided it was a good time to leave his station and put in a half press up the right flank. So naive. It enabled Minteh to skip round him. A goal up in the 94/95th min, you simply stay in your potion and defend. It becomes a low block situation.

On Sky they said the VAR said something like, any meaningful contact wasn’t until Udogie was already down.

Also saw it a few times when the camera panned to the dugout. Different players looking nervous, shouting out, encouraging, very motive basically.

As culpable as Danso was for the 2nd goal, it’s worth looking at Rutter. Had an age stood on his own on the edge of the box, and we had 3 defenders marking 1 player about 6 yards out.

    Xavi Simons

Crazy. Especially when there is such a dearth of creativity and quality in the current setup. Young player in a rubbish team in the hardest league in the world. He’s developing just fine. Every now and then we will get a game like today (which should have been match winning). Other days we...

You could argue even sticking with Frank would have yielded more. He’d started to get a tune out of Simons (who proved tonight he is improving and has cutting edge which we lack) and it’s impossible to think he’d have gone 2 points from 8 games.
