Is Solomon the chosen back up on the right to Kudus? Savinho could obvs play there but assume he’s being targeted for the left.

He was a teenager until March this year but is being trusted with the role even though many more senior players in the team. RDZ must really rate him even though he didn’t use him greatly in his short time at the end of last season.

Archie captain again. Bit of a statement from RDZ. (I may have missed something relating to this over the last few weeks as been away).

I don’t disagree on position but most of his play is to pick up the ball in the left centre channel so LW could be a quick entry into the team. Although I’d still rather have him in the 10 than Gallagher for example.

If we could quickly develop LWB he will leapfrog any of the existing incumbents.

Caution on Tel. He’s been positive and looked event but breezing past the Auckland RB (last game) is a different world to what waits in the prem. Having said that - I’m leaning towards him over Savio tbh. Maybe the pain of last season was with it from a development perspective.

    Savinho

Also, I’m sure it’s been covered on here but outside of his standout season at Girona (9 in 37) he’s managed 4 goals in about 4000 minutes. Granted, he has a good assist record at Girona and City but that is very low numbers for goals.

Wingers playing on their natural side rather than inverted worry me a little bit in the modern game. Not many success stories in the Premier League nowadays.

    Mateus Ferdnandes

Assuming we also have money for LW and FWD then seems a good signing.

Was clearly explained by Tuchel before the game. He’s the quickest player in the squad and Tuchel thinks they are dangerous on the break.

    Sandro Tonali

Obviously a quality player. Are we leaving some in the tank for forwards? Or do we believe Tel and Richy are good enough!?

    Andy Robertson

The question is; Which World Cup game will he suffer an ACL? Good signing imo. Proper leadership and genuine quality/cover.

    J P van Hecke

Has a year left so won’t be anywhere near 70m.

Late to the party today but all revolves around Danso, Vusc and Romero. I’d hate to think we’re using 50 of our pot on a 3rd RCB.

    Savinho

Reeks of lazy scouting/recruitment. Same as Gallagher. They are players directly under the Recruitment teams noses. Contrast that to eg. Bournemouth who went and got Rayan for £25m who was match ready and has all sorts of potential. This is the biggest problem with our ownership. They may look...

In fairness I thought he blew before it was in play. But VAR specifically said the offence was before the ball was in play. Which could have been looked at in more detail and given either way.

Spot on. The football company (not club) deserve to reap what they’ve sewn. It staggers me that we are in a billion pound business and they have guys writing cheques who don’t know their arse from their elbow.

He also blew the whistle before it was in play so can’t be a pen.

In a way the 2 blokes in charge deserve that. Cheap skating on a loan instead of buying a properly identified target.
