    The traffickers apparently advise them to do so. It’s impossible to know the percentages. I also question how the 40% reduction and 25% bring female and children figures are put together. I don’t think anybody should be entering the country without us knowing who they are.

    Correct. But you can apply for a tourist visa, arrive in the UK and then claim asylum and its not a criminal offense. Arriving illegally via a non official port of entry is and will count against you in an asylum hearing.
