It only costs £500 to stand. Some randomers will

Vote Binface - put Farage in the garage

Imagine if it genuinely is Binface's moment. It could become politics' greatest ever moment

Yeah sorry, that was clumsy. Statistically it has the most right wing electorate. But that doesn't mean there's not unfortunate reasons behind it, or plenty of decency and ambition amongst its populace too. I'm actually quite fond of faded seaside glamour towns right down the east coast -...

The championship is a much higher standard. The wages might not be as much, but career wise its a much better platform to return to the EPL

He needs a haircut and to loose some pounds too. He's starting to look like a country singer - fit for the Kris Kristoferson/Bradley Cooper role in A Star Is Born

Chris Mason makes an interesting point, that when David Davis pulled a similar stunt in 2008, the other parties refused to be drawn into the circus of it and just didn't humour/contest the by-election

Have you ever been to Clacton? They'd firebomb Miliband for being too intellectual, just on the basis that he wears glasses. It's the most extreme right wing place in the UK. Being Jewish might genuinely be an issue for him there.

    Rafael Leao

I think the lazy narrative is false The problem is his inconsistency. 1 game in 7 he's a world beater. 6 in 7 he stepovers and dead-ends himself to uselessness. He's a perfect highlights reel player, but his overall effectiveness is low.

Labour have never had more than about 28% of vote share there. It's only ever been UKIP, Tory and Reform. All parties need to tacitly support the Tory candidate, like happened with Greens and Labour at the two recent Manchester elections

I guess a constituency like that won't have anyone other than the Tories as an alternative. Do they have anyone half decent and fairly moderate all parties could coalesce around? Penny Mordaunt or Justine Greening or someone?

I guess its just if in 12 months he's at Wharton at Blackburn or Eze at QPR levels, which he has the ability to be. Could we then get him back for nominal, or see him go for very big fees in 2-3 years time. Its just protecting ourselves like Madrid always do

We got Kulu instead though, who was a much better signing

Hope we insert a buy-back. I still think he's got the talent to make it. I'm also worried that Maddison is our only specialist #10 at the club until Simons returns next spring. We maybe need a loan in to cover that gap

Robert Generic is really lightweight The person this really benefits is Badenoch, who might do a reasonable job of salvaging a Duncan-Smith level showing at the next GE

Scarper to claim bogus 'political asylum' in the US or Russia before his financial crimes come home to roost

It was obvious Reform would topple like a house of cards. But i would have given them longer than 12 months. More Frank than Ange

If he was 22 or 23, he'd be worth a punt. But at 27 now I think he has a Wilfred Zaha type of career/trajectory about him

    Mikey Moore

Dortmund would be the perfect loan for him. Maybe we can send them a pair and get someone else on the EPL/championship cusp like Souza or Donley to keep him company. As long as we don't screw anyone's CT status obviously
