Nope. I think he is at an age where playing men’s football and developing further is really important. Last season for example he improved his work off the ball and link up play. A top half championship team would be a good level for Lankshear next season IMO. I like Kroupi and think he has...

    Patson Daka

Not all promising young players will end up going to the top. In Kroupi’s defence he has already had a good season in the PL so is somewhat proven here, whereas Daka was coming directly from a league overseas (and not one of the strong ones either) so there was always some risk there.

    I suspect they will.

We have more ‘ready’ CFs than LWs…. Odobert out with an ACL, Moore not close to being ready for PL, LWB even further away. Tel being borderline ready. At CF we have 2 x ready now players in Solanke and Richarlison and Lankshear who is closer to being ready for PL football than Moore and LWB...

    Savinho

Personally, I think Nusa has a higher ceiling than Savinho, though there is no guarantee that he fulfills that potential. What he has is lovely balance, ball control and the ability to play the game, at pace, with his head up. Said El Malia would be my number 1 pick for a new left winger if...

    Savinho

That was a free transfer though and it's not unusual for it to be kept quiet when a player agrees a bosman deal at another club while the season is still ongoing. That way it doesn't sour their relationship with the fans.

    Rafael Leao

Absolutely nothing like each other. Leao will have no issues at all finding a contract at another big club.

    Djed Spence

Almost every player in the history of football sometimes switches off. I don't see Spence 'switching off' any more than other players, in fact I'd say that he is remarkably switched on compared to many of his peers.

    Rafael Leao

Strange comparison. One was at the start of their career, the other has been at a massive club for years with a very good G+A per 90 record and plays for their (rather good) national team.

From Preston North End's announcement: How refreshingly things have changed ar THFC in the last 6 months.

    Savinho

I suspect it is because we haven’t agreed a fee for him yet. We probably feel he isn’t a massive priority and it is unlikely other clubs interested can pay the package of City’s requested transfer fee and the player’s wages. We’re therefore letting City stew and come down to our valuation.

    Rafael Leao

I don’t dispute that. I’m saying that I don’t see how his performance last night could be described as lazy or half effort.

I read that we’re also about to sign 16 year old, England youth defensive midfielder, Kwasi Senyah from Wolves He has been olaying for the under 18s there.

For me it was the fact that every time I spoke to him in the players lounge after games both home and away he was a proper taco.

My word!…. that was a long while ago. Again, please describe what you mean by his application on the pitch?

    He did.

    Rafael Leao

I'm not saying that I want him or that I think he would be suited to Spurs under RDZ but I thought Leao looked OK last night. I didn't think he looked lazy at all, in what way did you think he was lazy? I saw a player who kept his position well, often showed for the ball and didn't waste it...

    Alfie Devine

I think he might end up being an Everton level player. Sell on would be better than buy-back as it seems finally the club have decided they want to go for glory instead of merely 'competing for the European places'
