    Why? Rarely do we hear anything of real interest, just the usual "we are all focused on getting a result" "xxxxx may be fit, we are monitoring him" "they are a tough team to play against" "we've worked hard at training" We could all write it yourselves.

    It's an interesting comparison, but we are all made up differently and although there will be a plan and regime to get him ready to play nobody can predict with any certainty when that will be. I would rather have a fully fit player next season than take any chances with him play this.

    I believe it's one of the hardest positions to play for a youngster, the best I've ever seen were Jennings and Shilton. It really is as much about experience as talent. Modern keepers are under so much more pressure than those 2 with the rule changes about back passes.
