    If Leeds and Forest win at the weekend (vs Wolves and Burnley respectively) ...then it's us v the Hammers for that last spot. The problem is now, that a win just gets us out of playing catch up...rather than creating a gap.

    I wouldn't rely on any supporters. The Goons got booed off on Saturday....despite being top of the league and 9pts ahead at the final whistle. Football fandom is another thing that has been ruined by SM.

    BTW....I remember when you would land in France with an empty tank and fill up with diesel as soon as you got off the ferry/tunnel...at least a third cheaper than here. Not anymore....Shell was 2.7 euros! a litre...many 2.3-2.4 euros ...only Total Energies (weirdly) had a flat price of 2.09...

    Its unbelievable and neverending Without being too granular....beyond the reffing and deflected goal, there were so many deflections and ricochets that just fell so kindly for Sunderland. Can't remember one for us.
