I'm pretty sure Gallagher will be #10, leading a high press. Kind of what Sarr did for a bit early season under Frank, just Gallagher is a bit less capable. Gray and Bergvall will be the double pivot I'd imagine (they did that very well in some of our best performances - Dortmund, Burnley etc).

Not exactly inspiring. Zero creativity in AM or across the forwards. I would rather have seen Simons and Tel starting. Looks like we are hoping to snatch something from a corner

There's a mention in the book that there were possibly other ships called Praise Allah and Blessings of Vishnu, so that's one line.

That was just Munn's retaliation in first account. But I wouldn't particularly trust him to tie his own shoelaces from what we saw of him

Not rotating Odobert in more was the kuch bigger issue than Johnson. And when this finally got forced on Frank, Odobert started showing he was actually capable

Leeds are the one team i think may be actually worse than us. That's where my tiny amount of remaining hope lies

Iran has a great university system, it's a very well-educated country. 60% of graduates are female too. It's going to skyrocket as a country once it democratises.

For this reason, ever player with a sense of morality should be wanting the boycott this world cup https://theconversation.com/englands-football-team-has-played-1-000-games-heres-the-most-notorious-127071

Every player of ours who misses the world cup is a massive bonus. It will cripple those players throughout next season. Udogie has already been spared and Gray is just sticking low enough under the radar. So that's three wins so far

But he was also fired for being brick after barely a couple of months. He never really had the credentials or experience for the role (his background was commercial). I'm not saying there aren't bigger problems, but Munn was well out of his depth and I wouldn't give value to any of his excuses...

That only works if we are protecting a lead (a chance would be a fine thing). Its the Lamela role - an attacking player switch for a defensive purpose. Just throw some chaos at their backline

We lost about 3 seasons of Lamela to this

The biggest issue is we have maybe 7 creative players in our squad. Kudus, Kulu, Odobert, Maddison, Moore and Donley are 6 of them. And the one thing in common - none will play for us again this season :(. Simons, you're our only hope

ACLs have always been 6 month recoveries, going back to the late 80s when they first came in. If anything the last two we've seen (Bentancur and Dragusin) have taken longer (9 months) and had less successful outcomes (some notable performance decline) than normal
