I agree. It's could be genius or a nightmare. For me, all I care about is him keeping us up... If he wants to leave after that, he earned the full contract value. I do believe his football better suits our squad. We just need to delay the inevitable implosion that comes with RDZ and...

The key for them is the midfield and wide players knowing to make the right options. They can all pass - they are professional footballers. It's about options available when they are being pressed.

I think Sarr, Bergvall, Gray and Xavi will enjoy it. If them four get it going quickly then I think Tel, Porro and Spence will come alive. The killer will be if the likes of Romero, Spence and Udogie think they can just jog back when defending.

I don't think Brighton fans thought they had the players either. You will be surprised how good players are at the basics when they have to use them in a system that supports it. The key for me will be playing high energy players Vs the bigger names.

What was the trigger in our downward trend?

This is why I cannot stand Jose. He sabotaged Poch. Poch was right, the squad needed reinforcing and refreshing. But no, Jose got into Levy's head, and this for me is also when I was finally Levy out. The time to back was getting to a UCL final, seeing the team scroll secure top 4 and battle...

What was the trigger in our downward trend?

Ange will always be a split opinion. I loved the craziness, but the long ball over the top was exploited by everyone, even when Romero and VDV played. After 10 games we were sussed. I always felt if he dropped the defensive line 10 to 15 yards then the long ball wouldn't have been as bad.

What was the trigger in our downward trend?

For me it was the sacking of Poch. The previous 15 years we were slowly trying to create an identity again. We had Jol, Redknapp and the Poch. These guys did 3, 4 and 5 years respectively and moved us huge steps forward. In between we tried the pragmatic crap, which inevitably failed but...

But wasn't the issue with MGW and accusation of we had insider info so would have been an issue anyway

Eze and Semenyo were not going to sign even if we offered silly wages.

So you genuinely think that these players will still be brick if they join another football playing team? Rubbish

    Igor the Departed

Want MGW all but done but Forest kicked off .. and Eze wanted arsenal cos he an arsenal fan. And Semenyo was always going to top a team. We went for unrealistic targets and ended up with players like Gallagher

    Igor the Departed

Romero, VDV, Porro, Spence. These 4 players almost guarantee opposition goals

    Igor the Departed

No but we can't sign players can we? Unless I missed something. So no point in a manager who thinks we can defend. And these players didn't become bad overnight. I'm fairly certain of I go back through historical messages there will be messages of you thinking a lot of these players are good

    Igor the Departed

So then why don't we just forfeit every game? We try the pragmatic crap, that doesn't work, but let's not try being more balanced? Literally makes no sense. Our attack is way better than our defence
  19. parj

    Igor the Departed

Exactly... So we defend more. It's the definition of stupid. Surely, at some point we try attacking and keeping the ball more

***OMT Tottenham Hotspur Football Club v Nottingham Forest***

No point in changing the manager. We will get another manager who will try to make us defend. It's clearly not the solution
