It is exactly that. We even recruited an expert from the US explicitly to try to get naming rights. The problem was there was a big difference in the offers coming in (about £15m per season) and the demand (about £25m per season). We could’ve paid off close to £100m of the debt by now.

    Would relegation be that bad?

I had us in 17th on 40 points. West Ham 18th on 38 points. Forest and Brighton on 43 points (I may well have been too kind to Forest here thinking about it). Palace on 44 points, Leeds and Bournemouth on 45. Too close for comfort!

GHod help us then as he isn't yet good enough for top half of the Championship.

    U23s, Academy and Loanees

We always (or at least regularly) seem to beat Woolwich at youth level. Yet they seem to bring more players through to the first team than we do. I wonder whether we have an emphasis on producing youth teams that win games as opposed to youth teams that develop players?

But we are one of the relatively few clubs who have built a new stadium from scratch and therefore have an opportunity to take on stadium naming rights (naming rights are worth far more at new stadiums than for redevelopment of existing stadiums - i.e. White Hart Lane would always be known as...

The ST waiting list is becoming more and more of an illusion. My son joined it in the not too distant past and was offered a season ticket before Ange's first season. I'm not convinced that we will sell out of ST's this summer and that's even assuming we stay in the PL.

    Igor the Interim

I've never had that experience at all. He has always been polite, charming and happy to chat, and has always seemed to treat people well when I've been in his company. Four of my mates are members at the same golf club as him and all really like him (3 of the 4 are not Spurs fans).

I prefer him to Frank already! :tearsofjoy:

Having met him many, many times, I'd say he's a really nice fella.

I think it might more suit VDV (who would be a good ball carrier) and Gray (who would be a good passer) with Romero being the one who stayed back at the base.

I rebranded him our 'attacking coach' ages ago.

West Ham don't own their stadium. Below are all of the premier league clubs who have built new stadiums since the turn of the millennium. I have bolded those that didn't take on a stadium sponsor. I suspect we have turned our back on considerably more money than Cardiff have in not taking on...

They've got themselves cheap cover in. Smart move on their part, poor on our part.

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

I made the grand total of two posts yesterday, only one after your post in response to mine and that one post I made was in a different thread. Now I’m sure you have set yourself up to get notifications whenever one of my posts lands on this forum (I don’t.blame you - I would want to read my...

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

I said at the time that Munn was a patsy. Basically somebody who was prepared to come in and put his signature to Paratici’s decisions while Paratici was serving his ban

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

Yep, he did. I know this because Martin was a member at the same tennis club as me (I’ve partnered him a few times in the over 50, under 50 doubles - has a very powerful and accurate forehand!). Yes I would listen to my DoF, it’s what they are there for. By the way, I think Arnesen was Spurs’...

I said at the time that he was unlikely to start for a good Coventry team. It was indeed a weird move for us to agree to.

Ange did incredibly well then to get that 5th place.
