    Mauricio Pochettino

Haven't seen the video but I'd imagine he was asked a bunch of questions to which he wrote the answers down to Best player you've coached Best young player Favourite club you managed Best experience Something like that at a guess

Not one mention of nepo-babies, you're slacking mate

Premiership Era Best XI - Left Back

Hope @robp135 is going to cap this series off with a manager poll - that would really put the cat among the pigeons 😂

Premiership Era Best XI - Left Back

Well, despite our reputation as a selling club we generally kept hold of our better players so that would make sense - however, Bale Modric Berbatov and VDVaart will be in contention despite being here for a relatively short period

Premiership Era Best XI - Left Back

I think this will be the closest one so far. I would happily have Rose or Ekotto - don't remember Ziege all that much but people a bit older (or with better memories than me) might favour him

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

Yet here we are... After the West Ham & Burnley games my thought was that we may as well leave him in charge through the tough run of fixtures, culminating in the NLD. Bringing a new guy in hoping for a bounce but lining him up with City United & Arsenal negates that - so the time to do it...

    Well that's subjective isn't it?

End of the season. It may get to a point where we are forced in to a change before then though

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

I don't think anyone thinks that, do they? Seems pretty unanimous that Frank should be sacked if we don't improve

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

Yeah, usually every transfer window as a means to knock Levy - seems he's getting his agendas crossed

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

It's certainly a possibility, if he can't do better than what Ange produced last season that would probably confirm it.

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

How many of those other managers took over from the worst league performance in our history? None Frank will rightly get sacked if he can't improve on last seasons level by a decent degree - no arguments there.

Premiership Era Best XI - Centre Backs

King & Verts However if you were building a pairing you'd probably not put both together

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

Maybe, dunno - you'd be missing the point regardless

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

I don't think nor am I saying it's pur rightful position - only that it is what Frank walked in to - he didn't walk in to a top 6 team, he walked in to a team that was tracking at a very low level, I thought it would be an easier job to turn around that extended level of poor performance than it...

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

Mate with all due respect i think there's more than a little bit of wishful thinking there. Besides, I'm not really trying to pour over last season here - I'm just trying reframe/ readjust the situation that Frank walked in to.

    Would relegation be that bad?

Fair enough it must have missed that talking point

Doctor Sleep (the novel) always felt like King was writing a different book and decided at some point to adapt it to a Shining follow up

    Would relegation be that bad?

I think you're maybe mixing up performance with points - i don't recall there being anyone saying that a point in either of those games was good but I do remember discussion being that the performances were an improvement and should have won (of which there was some push back from others)

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

The reason this discussion kicked off is because I tried to add some context to the 'worst top 6 manager' table that Raz posted - highlighting that Frank didn't take over a top 6 team. Pointing out that simple fact seems to have rattled some cages.
