    OMT Badgers vs Eagles

Not great...but could be worse. Now we have no Odobert we have such little pace to get behind teams. Muani gives us a chance to do that at least... Slim pickings i know, but desperate times and all that. Certainly not a lack of effort from what i saw yesterday

    OMT Badgers vs Eagles

Muani is probably our fastest attacker though....

OMT - Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur

I watched the whole game on tv and agree with much of this. The disdain with which we are now treated by the inconsistency of the referees (Ekitike/Romero vs Gabriel/Muani vs Jiminez/Dragusin) shows how far low we've fallen in the football food chain imo Certainly saw some fight, forward...

The Overlap - some interesting comments from Ange

Goodness me...the excuses for all those hapless losses, even when we DID have a decent team fielded....maybe we should bring Ange back, after all he clearly showed what we missed when he was at Forest earlier this season:rolleyes:

Why did it go wrong series? #1 Nabil Bentaleb

I think you've hit on something there...this is the tricky line we tread when a coach promotes youngsters and they get lauded like he and Mason were when Poch pushed out the likes of Capoue, Kaboul etc for these new up-and-comers: they can get big heads very quickly if not handled right. I...

Champions League 25/26: Dortmund, PSG, Villarreal, Frankfurt, Slavia, Bodø/Glimt, Copenhagen, Monaco

Who would be the least worst opponent for us in the round of 16?

    OMT *** Tottenham Hotspur v woolwich *** 22.2.26

Looking back, did anyone take any small positives from Igor's first game that may be of use in the final stretch of games to come?

I suspect it's more to have something to say in his next job interview in the summer: "the plan was always to...blah blah...but blah blah..."

    This is what concerns me

I hear what you're saying, but tbf Tudor is under pressuire from day one. We are and have been in the muck before he joined and his remit reflects that. He knows the target and seems lazer focused to achieve it. Whether he/we achieve it? Stay tuned...

    OMT *** Tottenham Hotspur v woolwich *** 22.2.26

From watching on telly i thought the effort was mostly there but not the belief and quality. Some silly play too from the likes of Dragusin and Spence But i think it'd be harsh to say anyone was hafl-arsing things...but which players made you think that?

    ENIC

If i was to not think of ENIC in a cyncial way (very difficult for me) i wonder if there was a plan to add two more players which fell through....when you want to do such dingdong swinging you'd think a more 'marquee' signing than a competent but nothing special signing than Gallagher would be done....

    Next Manager Thread (2026 Edition)

I don't think they are in it for much longer (if we DON'T go down). IF Poch comes in the summer, i think he will be the last manager they appoint as owners of THFC

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

What a mess. I think where we are (on the verge of being relegated) i trace back to that summer in 2024 after we missed out on CL by two points after a bad collapse. The fact we bought several players but only ONE player who could be expected to go straight into the starting 11 (Solanke) said...

Godness me.... :-( Where the hell is the attacking pace going to come from now?

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

It's reactive over all these years because the actual football operation is treated as a lucrative sideline, not the main reason to be, by the owners. The yearly bottom line and position wrt to return of investment is what mainly seems to always count...
