Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

And as PL players... Might look good in one team but not good in another. Some are only ever a big fish in a small pond. And a lot of English players are grossly overrated hence English clubs would rather risk paying less for a unproven talent knowing they might have a higher ceiling.

Ditto managers too. TF has not had a world class attitude. That's previous managers too. Conte and Jose throwing players under the bus instead of earning their money, Poch throwing his wobbly in his last season, Redknapp courting the England job etc. seen this story for decades too.

I think PL experience is overrated. Players come from nowhere and do well here .. All they need is to be confident and have better technical ability. Not one foreign player came here PL ready - but many have been the greatest the league has seen.

Will not happen until every player is sold and goes on to prove the doubts wrong

Frank Give him time or get rid?

Looking at our current fixtures, I'm only mildly confident about winning one - Burnley - up until the March. That's a brutal run. We need a shake up asap. TF has to go

Difference is Carrick loves United. Sometimes you need to be there for more than the paycheck. I do also wonder if maybe TFs persona is too laid back for a club wanting to be challenging the top 4/6 clubs. I just don't see him calling out players and them even caring.

Forget last season, what about this season... It's worse now then at the beginning of the season when it was still Ange's coaching in place

It won't work. Look what villa did. Left an extra player forward and we had to take a player out of the set piece.

But our defending is not improving. Under Ange, it was Romero and VDV being injured but they are available now and it makes no difference. TF only has Udogie missing. It can't get worse. Lame up top, lame at the back.

We have to stop relying on crossing into the 6yd box. You just need to camp in there and play the odds defending against us

That's absolute rubbish. The Frank out crowd are asking for us to have balls and play football. Show us something instead of conceding everything

I agree there are two sides to look at. But honestly, if I could see what TF was trying to implement then it's a lot easier to accept the crap we are watching at the moment. I genuinely loved what he did at Brentford, but I really thought he was the wrong person for the job just because the...

I disagree with wanting to see what a manager can do with the strongest. I want to see what they do when things go against them as well. No point in having a manager that needs Emirates Marketing Project money to play well unless we going to spend Emirates Marketing Project money. 9 teams currently have 7 to 9 injuries so it's...

Mate, I agree with you. Leeds and Sunderland are who we should aspire to be based on lots of posts that our squad is so brick. Their squads are the squads we want. There is this bizarre perception that Maddison will force our players to pass the ball forward and support them - I'm assuming we...

All of a sudden?, all of a sudden? yes!. Remind of how we were at the beginning of the season? We were capable of playing football. If we started brick, then I could understand.

A lot of players are missing placing passes. Surely that's a coaching thing too. Crap at passing all of a sudden, let's just ignore that. That's as bad as Ange refusing to work on set pieces.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa FC ***

I agree with you. I don't think TF is the right person. And that's not based on anything other than attacking or pragmatic coaches don't work for us. It's balanced coaches who expect the team to defend and attack as a unit. I also can't stand the fact that manager will sideline players...
