I thought that for Xavi but from another angle shown there were like 6 players to try and shoot through. Needed a runner from midfield to lay it off to

Our transfer committee needs to be sacked. Who the hell asked and who the hell sanctioned Conor Gallagher. He is such a bottom of the league run around like a headless chicken player. Where are the midfield options to have the ball rolled back to them around the edge of the area

Radu is clearly rusty. He been out for ages. He kept Cherki outside just the shot went in. I have never been a fan of back 3 since Conte cos I feel we lose a midfield option. The only time I felt it worked was under poch when Dier would drop from DM to CB when needed

Totally agree. Play football the right way and I don't care about the result. Too many injuries so let's get the reserves playing the right way too. Everyone should be playing the same way - give the players the confidence by backing them to play well

But Carrick gets Man Utd. He knows how they want to play, and he backs himself to get them to play. Might be a new manager bounce

Apparently that means you hate TF and we're never on board with him, and have your own agenda to not liking what you see. I totally agree with what you say. Ty he crazy thing is, our performances got better with more injuries. We no longer "what if" one missed chance like we deserved it -...

That's just the expectation now. Done believe the squad is so bad that a draw against Burnley should be celebrated. A good performance is one thing, that should be expected against Burnley, but we should also expect a win too.

I don't think Solanke is a potent threat. His goal tallies over the last 5 seasons show that. However, I think he is great at pressing and holding onto the ball. But for £60m he isn't showing that value. I don't see him creating something out of nothing, which means he needs a lot of service...

I think this is the issue. You can't give any manager a free pass for a whole season. You cannot write off an entire season without seeing steady improvement. Our defending is still a joke. Our attack slightly better now we have more injuries but I believe that's more due to the a better...

Did he not have a heavily bruised foot after Dortmund game?

It shouldn't be just the ACMs responsibility. It's a green space so nearest marked player to the space needs to go into it.

Great shot that. Our midfield are almost in a straight line... Nobody breaking to get into the pockets. It seems a very rigid system at times

The number one thing I see is get the ball wide and cross into the box if there is >0 Tottenham players in the box.

I wouldn't shift all the blame to attack. There are times we are slow to support, or when they do support they run right into the opposition defensive line instead of moving into spaces.

Exactly this. Forget formations - I thought we had an opportunity to build on what Spence did against Dortmund- the intent against Dortmund and today was there to be seen. My concern is what happens when he gets players back. Will he go back to boring pragmatic again?

So why focus just on him? It's a team issue. Our passing options are poor, at times execution of the basics isn't good enough. But when the team knows what they are doing the are less errors. If you said his shooting is shocking, I would agree with you. That's him. But I think his errors...

But he isn't alone in that. We have 8 defensive players in our top 10 most errors made. Is that a problem?

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

I thought we had intent today but I wasn't a fan of the formation. I felt we didn't really win the midfield battle, and slowed our attack down too much. There were times we broke and the options were poor.

Looking at the stats, most errors per game is Xavi. He is they guy that is expected to carry the ball and try risky passes. My issue with players losing possession is 8 of our top 10 players to lose possession are defensive players. Only attackers are Richy and Xavi. Defenders should be able...
