    OMT *** Tottenham Hotspur v woolwich *** 22.2.26

Crowd were good yesterday I thought. It was loud first half even when we couldn’t get the ball. Second half, the crowd kept singing but there wasn’t anything to hang on to. The Pahlinha tackle in the middle of the pitch got a massive reaction but we spent so much time chasing the ball or pinned...

Just got home. On the flight back, I got more and more wound up by how we ended up here and the very real prospect that we could be relegated. Some of the decisions from the club, especially when they’ll be viewed through the prism of hindsight, are going to look beyond incompetent and...

Think that's harsh. The players tried today. They just weren't good enough and we weren't well drilled enough.

You may be right, I'd need to watch the goals back. But you can always pinpoint a mistake for why you conceded. Fact is, we were a very distant second best today and were deservedly hockeyed. Had they not scored the four goals they did, they'd have found other ways through.

The worry for me today stuff was that I couldn't really see what we were trying to be. It looked chaotic. I watched Xavi and Muani first half and they were within spitting distance of each other and neither knew who should have been pressing. There was a similar situation in our left back area...

Would have to watch the goals back, they were a bit of a blur. Thought Dragusin defended pretty aggressively for the most part and won a lot of 50:50s. He did irritate me leaving Gyokores (I think) come inside early on and he just shot beyond the post. He did the same second half which was poor...

fudging absolute amateur hour. I still think we won’t go down but it is a distinct possibility. If we do, we’ll be the gold standard in case studies of how incompetence outweighed vast resources to result in catastrophic unachievement. All things being equal, the way we’ve been run, we deserve...

Absolutely nothing in that to hang your hat on. We were very poor throughout. Didn’t look like we knew what we were doing early on, you could see players were confused. We relied on nicking the ball or them misplacing a pass. I saw nothing today that makes me think we’ll stay up. Thought the...

We’ve been a bit confused and chaotic. At times the players don’t seem to know what they are supposed to be doing. He’s only had them a week so I can understand why and they’re a good side. We’re still in it though. We’re battling hard and trying hard and everyone is putting in a shift...

Didn’t see the first half, just caught the last half an hour. Good to hear they were better in the first half.

The crowd have got to make it uncomfortable for Woolwich off the bat tomorrow. Take absolutely no prisoners. Then it’s over to the players to get into them.

Thank fudge for that. City weren’t in control there. This isn’t a good or consistent City team but they are picking up some momentum and have a decent run of fixtures coming up. All sorts of incentive for us tomorrow.

    Racism in football

Christ almighty. If you think I condone anti semitism or defend terrorists just because they are of a particular race or nationality, you’re trying to force me into this “woke lefty” stereotype that you’ve constructed in your own head. Despite your protestations to the contrary you do condone...

    Racism in football

Right, I’m out. You’re saying antisemitism is dangerous hatred but calling a black person a monkey is “a bit of banter”. You know what, fundamentally I couldn’t disagree with you more but I think there were germs of decent points in some of your posts. However, that sort of thing completely...

    Racism in football

What part of the video am I watching? It's 21 mins long. However, the comparison of what black people have suffered historically and what ginger people have "suffered" is disingenuous to say the least. On your last sentence, the point is that it is wrong to like or dislike an entire group...

    Racism in football

It's not just about the name calling though. You allow the name calling, you encourage a viewpoint that black people are inferior and you then see them disadvantaged in very real ways. A cursory look at history as well as some common sense will tell you that happens. Even if it was "just being...

Exactly that. It was unbelievable that night. There was a lot behind that atmosphere (them cheating to get the game postponed in January, we were both fighting for CL). There's a lot riding on this one too (ruining their title bid, getting us safe, Tudor's first game) so every fan needs some...

Who would you want as the new Director of Football?

Yeah but I’m not taking a step down the career ladder at this stage of my life for anyone.

    Would relegation be that bad?

Trying to predict football results, particularly for multiple teams over 12 games, is a waste of time. Everyone will drop points and pick up points you don't expect. Our survival or fate will be sealed by Leeds, Palace, Forest, Brighton and Everton at home. We lose all of those games (I don't...
