    Champions League 25/26

Yeah, if we go through, I think we can progress pretty far as long as we avoid English teams and the European big guns. The difference in quality really is that big from the PL and the next best teams in the other big European leagues.

Maybe there's hope for us GG'ers after all. 😁 As in most cases, the book is better (IMO), but they did a great job adapting it for the big screen too. Great acting and interesting characters. William H. Macy delivers another great performance, which reminds me I really have to watch Boogie...

    American politics

Trying not to repeat myself, but...he really is a batbrick crazy, raving orange lunatic. I know there are scarier people behind him, but it will be a blessing the day he's gone and we don't have to endure his constant gibberish anymore. So tired now.

    Dominic Solanke

He's so important. Solanke's return, with his ability to hold up the ball, could be the saving grace for Frank. Him, and Udogie at LB, and we look much more balanced.

From the telly the atmosphere sounded superb yesterday, so I think you have a point. Hopfully a good result on the weekend means we can recreate that atmosphere against City, who will undoubtedly fear the Christian Romero Team. And here's a thought; perhaps the clams who urged fans to boo on...

    Jun'ai Byfield

What a night it must've been. Great to see a youngster get his chance. 38th youngest CL player ever, weirdly just a week older than Solanke when he made his CL debut.

We needed that. Great win, not perfect, but so important. Doesn't matter the quality of the opposition. Finally something to smile about and a little breather for Frank.

Harsh red, unless you see it in the context of some of the reds we've been given.

Home fans sounds lively too. Good to hear. Support the team when we play, critisize Frank afterwards.

It would be mentioned on a permanent on screen ticker before the match, during the entire match, after the match, and for another six months, at the minimum.

Four 17 year olds, one 18 year old, one 19 year old, one 20 year old and the experienced 21 year old Scarlett on the bench. Bare bones.

That's ten midfielders potentially out. How is that even possible. Imagine if it was a team in red suffering the same. There would be a month long mourning period in which bright clothes and smiling was strictly forbidden, and perpetrators would be subject to intense waterboarding and multiple...

THE DOGS - AND CATS- OF GLORY GLORY

Cats are lovely creatures - I mean, dogs are awesome too, and I don't mean to hijack the thread, but it's my belief cats can sometimes have quite complex personalities (some are very simple too). I believe we maxed out in that department with Røys, lol. Good for you to get another cat even if...

Fair enough - perhaps it’s a better watch after reading the book? It's not the easiest piece of literature to film; there are many dreamy/magical sequences and some inner monologue that doesn’t translate to the screen very easily. Overall I thought they did a good job with the movie, though.
