    That's actually the side I wanted us to go for (except Udogie at LB). I think the Gray-Gallagher CM gives us better balance than with Paulinha. But with it being an El Sackico, I thought Frank would play for the draw. I'm glad injury has forced us to be more front-footed.

    It's also better to have people with football backgrounds in those roles, rather than suits. Paratici was a player and then a coach. Lange was an academy player, then a coach. Someone with a general business HR recruitment background isn't going to cut the mustard

    I'm not sure it will be any different to a Paulinha-Bergvall or Paulinha-Sarr pivot. We'd be swapping out a passer for a runner, and with Paulinha not a great passer either, it doesn't help our transitions

    I think only one (Lange), and he's probably on slippery ground now too. Vinai probably escapes the blame for this one. It would be great to see a sudden uptick and all our issues be cast away as growing pains. But similar to this stage with Nuno in 2021, surely we've got to be starting...

    I agree about a loan. But if we could get £30m cash now to invest in a LW, then we probably should. With no domestic cup games, we've got ample cover with Danso and Davies (Dorrington is also back at present).

    Tel and Odobert will be the other way round - Odobert is definitely better on his wrong side than Tel; and that's how they were last week I'd definitely go Udogie over Spence, esp to compensate for the loss of Bentancur
