    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

He's correct, critical of his comments last week but these are completely fine.

The Current State of Spurs (and some sympathy for Thomas Frank)

I'm not convinced from a footballing POV he does. But what he does bring is the ability to unite a large chunk of the fan base and will be seen as an easy win by the board. Glasners football is pretty turgid, I'd expect we would be in the same place after a few months.

The Current State of Spurs (and some sympathy for Thomas Frank)

Nope and I'm pretty sure you know that I am and many others are blaming him for bringing in a culture of accepting defeat in the league by the players and the legacy of injuries he left

The Current State of Spurs (and some sympathy for Thomas Frank)

I'm convinced as soon as we have mopo wrapped up for the summer franks gone and a caretaker is coming in (Mason?!) Till that point I believe the board don't see the point in sacking him with no new manager announcement.

Using internationals is not a great yard stick, I'm pretty sure Ben Davies will be our most capped player? Not sure many clubs would be in a rush to sign him, the standard tends to be a lot lower for 80 percent of the games as well But if we want to do that compare the squads to the top 6...

The Current State of Spurs (and some sympathy for Thomas Frank)

I tried to put it in the Frank thread, possibly explained it badly When Frank took over we had won 2 home games in 2025, one of them was against Southampton, Fans were already annoyed at losing almost everything home game and paying £60 plus for the privilege of doing it Adding to the losing...

    Dominic Solanke

At this point I think he's dead. We are being weekend'ed at Bernies everytime he shows up on screen, has anyone seen him move?

Didn't Walker demand to leave? I'm not sure he had much choice in the matter

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

It's been crap, losing at home football for a year, with the odd sprinkle of headless chicken running for good measure

I'd say the gap between Udogie and Rose is smaller than Porro to Walker Neither would get in the first 11 in my view.

I'm talking about the last year and the reason why people are not bothering.

Fabio Paratici - Also Sporting Director

There was a fair bit of chatter around him coming back before it was formally announced, maybe he had signed a deal some time before it was announced? I quite liked the idea of having one head of youth recruitment (which Lange is supposed to be great at) and one for the first team Seems a...

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Well he didn't, as we stunk out the place in the league under him as well.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Not really the point. Fans are not going because of Franks home form with Brentford, they are not going because the chances are they spend £70 for us to lose and has been the case for a year.

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

We've been brick at home for a full calendar year, one of the areas I think Frank is unlucky is he is managing us on the back end of that year and seems to be getting the flack for the whole year, completely ignoring the start of the year. He could resolve it by winning games of course.

Fabio Paratici - Also Sporting Director

I don't think it's anything more than Levy's man moving on I imagine he's been given the blessing by the club to move, guess we will see if there is a gardening leave period if he does go, if not it would indicate the club isn't bothered by him leaving. Nor should they with his record.

    Dominic Solanke

Thiago from Brentford, should be all over him As soon as Solanke is fit sell him for whatever we can get - I imagine we are looking at a massive loss

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

If everyone is fit, VDV/Kulu/Romero maybe/Udogie maybe Then they might take a punt on Berg/Gray

    Dominic Solanke

How much damage was done to him last season? Jeez

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

The Wolves duo Neves (ex) and Gomes would push our midfield up a couple of levels. Both seem they are gettable this window, for different reasons. United look like they are slowly turning the corner, helps when the manager is given PL proven players in key areas.
