Bowen is a very good player, and if he was available, I think a few clubs would be after him Kudus wasn't streaky in his first season, he scored 17 goals, 7 assists, basically carried their EL campaign. Manager change, wheels kind of came off for them, supposedly some disconnect between him...

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Veliz is going back to Argentina (supposedly), offers apparently have already been made. Guess, fair re keeping them fit, but for Gil be interesting to see if we will actually waste time negotiating or just cut and run.

Everyone except a very few players are upgradable, the question is what percentage upgrade do you get at what tradeoff? I don't think you will get a significantly better shot stopper, you might get someone better at claiming stuff in the air, or you could go for someone better with their feet...

Did you watch Ederson yesterday? another 2 goal fudge up, in addition to passing the fudging ball to the opposition in the previous game. My point is if Vic had made one of those 3 mistakes in 2 games (just fudging one), the media narrative would have been how brick he is, and Spurs fans would be...

Veliz is supposedly pretty much off, Gil has offers as well, not sure why they would return

    ITK Thread

Loans are the route, and we have only got that (more consistently) right recently. Sarr, Udogie, Bergvall (loan back model), Yang, Keeley, Donley, Phillips, Vuskovich, list goes on. We have also understood wonder kids that have game time (Gray, Bergvall, Tel) will likely make that step up...

I think he would know those players pretty well, plus what he will get briefed on.

Veliz also pretty close to done

    Cristian Romero

Athleti cough up money, see Alvarez, they are talking (if you believe rumours) of around 60M right now for Romero, if they up that by 10M, he's probably gone.

Most overrated keeper in the league, always has a fudge up in him, did it again in club world cup.

    Cristian Romero

Lets be clear, Oshimen would have more options than Spurs, I'd love it to be just down to wages and push the club. Back to thread, looks like Romero will go, just negotiations/posturing

I get, but how do you do that without tinkling off everyone? just overpay so people are happy to not play games?

    Expectations for 25/26

It's the place that annoys me, for all the talk of Spurs underachievement, what would the last 20 years have looked like for us without Chelsea, City, Saudi Sportswashing Machine, cheating their way to the top?

So what the fudge do they do with all these players? at end of season they had 23 foreign players (squad of 31 senior) and they keep buying? Is it that they pay so much people are happy not to be in all comps?

Don't disagree, to me priorities are RW, CM, FB (either side is fine due to Spence's adaptability) +replacing any first 11 that go out (Romero, Richi mostly) Was just giving a possible logic

    Expectations for 25/26

Groan .. when brick is so obvious [Ornstein] Aston Villa agree deal to sell women’s team to holding company V Sports & a stake to prominent US-based investors. #AVFC say no issues regarding Premier League PSR rules + advanced talks with UEFA on resolution to FFP compliance @TheAthleticFC

    Pape Matar Sarr

Think he'll be alright, 22 in a struggling side that itself had no consistency in either results or squad (with the injuries), I'd say his previous season was better than last. Frank has used players in that high energy, box to box from deep that I think Sarr is suited for. Time for him to kick on.

Logic could be (not saying it is) -> Spence, VDV, Davies could all cover LB, Gray can cover RB if Spence being used for LB Realistically we now have Porro, Spence, Romero (yes, likely out), Danso, Dragusin, VDV, Davies, Vuskovich, Kota, Udogie for back line (and that's not even counting...

    FIFA: Destroying Football Since 1904

PSG are both serious and doing FIFA a favour, 4-0 at HT against Messi's MLS side, they could have made it 10+, backed off and let it go. The real question is how is this extended season going to affect the big clubs, are City, PSG, Real going to go into next season overcooked?
