I think you're absolutely right in fairmess. But why did the ref see a yellow when it was right in front of him? Maybe he felt it was clumsy but not endangering an opponent or violent conduct? On replay I thought he'd be fortunate to escape. I wish these decisions were judged equally across the...

We will never know about GLC or Ndombele because they were signed for Poch who then got 12 or so games with them before being brick-canned for 'a winner'...BTW, prime Eriksen says hi...

Sorry? I don't understand what you're asking and in what context?

    Xavi Simons

The ref -despite his penchant for giving Liverpool most things- saw it on field as a yellow; straight in front of him. Attwell, miles away in an office building, slowed it down enough to make sure the ref could be summoned to the monitor. It was a VAR-red. Not a human ref one.

You are absolutely misquoting me and taking me out of context. Where did I say I 'do not mind losing...'? What I said was that I am not led/dominated by results IF there is a direction. Of COURSE if losses keep happening despite an attractive style then it becomes untenable. I don't care if...

***Official Match Thread Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool Sat. 20th Dec. 5:30pm***

We had a full week between games for the first time in an age, thus it would have been just like resting him for a midweek match. If there was a concensus that the shape was right, and not one for two forwards, then Richy should've started the game with Muani as an option off the bench IMO. I...

I saw that and did a double-take!!!! FWIW I thought Spence was really good today, so positive.

THSI! I'd like someone to explain to me why we didn't play Muani off Richy today? That scouse defence was there for the roughing and taking, indeed, the spaces between FBs and CBs was huge. Yet once again we ask Muani to try and be the hold-up 9, and many times when breaking we simply don't have...

100% this. It was an ambitious pass to Muani which was (obviously) poorly executed, but you're on point IMO, he is being tasked as the main playmaker and as such, a massive issue in an of itself. We're back at the 'what we need' versus 'does the manager want what we see we need'...

What does that mean mate? I am not chained to raw win/loss results. I am chained to a style of play that I want to see us aim for. If Frank can deliver that, fantastic. As of now, I am not seeing evidence he wants to produce that style of play. That's it. If that is a delusion of grandeur my...

I understand my friend, your kind words are appreciated and I echo them in return. I think the truth here is that we have differing views on the manager (all good) and as such, we are choosing to see different things from his presser on Friday. You did, indeed, supply some accurate quotes...

Have to say, Simon was a MASSIVE loss. Really top guy who absolutely knew his stuff. Really interesting observation...I mean, the path is clear?

    Micky van de Ven

I think he certainly was to an extent, until he saw the silverware potential. On the BBC MNC Rory Smith pointed out that he has pulled the old 'cup pragmatist' thing several times in his career which I did not know and found interesting. Yes indeed, the City question would be intriguing!

Perhaps, in which case our transfer committee needs calling out, because there's a lot of money there. In think Bergvall's injury came at a time when he was about to be trusted by Frank. I am not sure Frank knows what to do with him. Gray? he responded to the joint error between him and Vicario...

This I absolutely agree with. As you know I felt they hung Ange out to dry from last Jan (we know why) and I agree, the likes of Lange and VV should be doing more here. Frank's way is not going to help him at this club. Again, it isn't Brentford... p.s. I am aware my bias is tipping. I am...

Indeed. I didn't even mention those but agree...when he said the group who can see 'the bigger perspective' it is actually in line with a lot of people who think they are seeing that but don't necessarily measure it against WHAT that 'bigger perspective' is for. If I am going to be written off...

Another presser today where I wish he would be courageous and protective. If people keep bringing up the Archie Gray moment last week, protect him. It's done, he said his piece at the time, why not just say 'guys it's been discussed within the dressing room with everyone, mistakes are a team...
